You’ve made it through month one! At this point you might be suspecting you are pregnant. Especially because now you will start noticing the physical changes and feelings that indicate pregnancy. Over the next four weeks your child’s features will continue to change and grow. While still tiny, your baby’s heart, brain, spinal cord, muscle, and bones are beginning to develop.

Physical Changes

Feeling a little out of the ordinary? Pregnancy brings on a handful of common symptoms. Some women might feel all of them while others might feel none at all!

  • Feeling nauseous (commonly referred to as morning sickness, but it can happen at any time of day or night)
  • Breast soreness/tenderness
  • Darkening of the nipples
  • Frequent urination
  • Feeling more tired than usual

If you’ve missed your period or feel any of the above pregnancy symptoms, pay a visit to your healthcare provider. If you are pregnant you will need prenatal care along with help from a medical professional. Starting prenatal care early and keeping up with your appointments is the key to a healthy pregnancy.
