Our Story
Hi, our names are Justin and Brandon. We met in chemistry class during our high school years and started dating shortly after graduation in 2008. We dated for six years and got married in August 2014 in Hawaii. Brandon is a market leader managing several retail locations in central Virginia, while Justin is a senior customer experience manager for a cross-country motor club and works remotely from home. We enjoy traveling to new places and trying new types of food, binge watching our favorite shows on Netflix, scuba diving, gardening, and playing an endless game of tug of war with our two dogs. We both love going on adventures and cannot wait to show our future child all of the world.
Our Extended Family
Brandon is the oldest child. He has one younger brother who is in middle school. Brandon’s grandparents play a big role in his life and always come up with fun ways to keep their grandchildren entertained. Justin has three siblings, two younger brothers and an older sister. On Justin’s side, we have seven nieces and nephews, all of whom are extremely active in sports. They range in ages from 14 all the way down four and include a set of twins.
We have a close group of friends who also have children of their own whom we think of as our nieces and nephews and are fortunate to be the godparents of one of them. We love spending time with all of our family and creating traditions and memories with them.

Our Home
We live in a kid-friendly golf course community that has plenty of places for our future child to explore. Our community has a waterpark, a pirate-themed playground, tennis courts, two pools, and plenty of walking trails. Our home has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a fenced-in backyard. We are close to several parks, museums, restaurants, and even a zoo! We are located in one of the best school districts in the state of Virginia, and the elementary school is located within walking distance from our house. We have two dogs: Louelen, who is a playful giant schnauzer that is full of energy, and Isadora, who is a loving and gentle standard poodle. We also have a cat named Ohana who loves to birdwatch out of her cat tower.
Our Journey to Adoption
A few years ago, we did foster care, and ever since then, we have known we wanted to adopt a child to create a family of our own. We absolutely adore kids and have envisioned ourselves as parents since the start of our relationship. We are so excited about the possibility of becoming parents and providing a loving home for them to flourish in.
