Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
The words “thank you” feel so small compared to the depth of our gratitude for you. Still, thank you—for your courage, your strength, and the incredible love it takes to consider this path for yourself and your precious baby. We can’t begin to imagine all the emotions you may be experiencing, but we do know this choice reflects selflessness and love.
When we faced the reality that biological children weren’t possible for us, one thing never wavered: our deep desire to be parents and grow our family. After much prayer, research, and conversation, adoption became the path we felt most called to. Reading the stories of birth mothers and adoptees confirmed for us that adoption is a beautiful, meaningful journey, and to even be considered as adoptive parents is a profound honor.
If you were to choose our family, please know that your child would be welcomed into a home overflowing with love. Not a day would go by that we wouldn’t feel grateful for the gift you entrusted to us. Your courage would forever shape our lives, and we would raise your child with unwavering devotion, joy, and respect for their story.
With Love,
Megan and Nicholas

Our Story
Megan first noticed Nicholas three years before they officially met. He came into her workplace for dinner, and she remembers turning to her friend and saying, “Oh my, he is so cute.” He finished his meal and left, and she never thought much more of it—until one day his face appeared in her “people you may know” on Facebook. Sitting at dinner, Megan thought, “No way, it’s him!” She sent a simple message that said “Hey,” and from that moment, they’ve spent nearly every day together. After nine months of dating, they moved into a little apartment, and five years later, during a beach trip to Charleston, Nicholas proposed under a sky lit by a shooting star. Megan says it was the easiest “yes” she’s ever given. Fast forward to today: they’ve shared over 10 beautiful years together and built a life full of love and laughter. Their three-year-old dog, Gypsy, has been the light of their lives, filling their home with joy and playfulness as they dream of growing their family even more.
Our Extended Family
Megan is the middle of three children. Her older brother, Tyler, blessed her with a beautiful niece and nephew, and her younger brother, Andrew, is a firefighter in their town—alongside their stepfather, who serves as the Fire Department Captain. With her parents and brothers living close by, Megan enjoys a very close-knit family filled with cookouts, camping trips, and countless fun memories.
Nick is also the middle of three. His older sister, Tiffany, is the General Manager of an arena in Baltimore, and his younger brother, Wesley, is deeply rooted in his faith, traveling on mission trips wherever God leads him. Nick’s parents live in the neighboring town, and holidays and family gatherings there are always full of love and fellowship.
Together, we treasure time with our family and friends, knowing that the people and memories we create are what truly matter. Support, love, and showing up for one another are values we hold close—ones we hope to pass on to our children in every season of life.

Our Home
In 2021, we moved into our newly built three-bedroom, two-bath home on an acre of land in North Georgia. We cleared the lot ourselves and poured so much love into making it ours. Surrounded by trees with a big open yard, it’s the perfect place to watch the sun set over the mountains each evening. Our neighborhood is full of kids playing, and we’ve loved getting to know every family we’ve met. Our dog, Gypsy, never meets a stranger—she happily greets everyone on her walks around the loop. We can’t wait to raise a child here, surrounded by nature, community, and so much love
Our Journey to Adoption
From the very beginning, we knew we wanted children. When the time came to start our family, we quickly learned the journey wouldn’t be as easy as we hoped. After countless negative tests, tears, prayers, and the heartbreak of loss, we sought the help of a fertility specialist. We discovered that Nicholas was not producing what was needed to conceive naturally, and he began fertility treatments. After more than a year of trying, we were given the devastating news that nothing more could be done.
Though the grief was heavy, we immediately began exploring adoption, and it felt like home to us. With time, we came to see that this was God’s plan for us all along—to grow our family through adoption and to love a child with all that we have.
