We met in Dallas in 2006. Francisco had just moved from Oklahoma a couple of weeks before. We instantly fell in love. After dating for 4 months we decided to move in together. After 15 years of dating, we decided to get married and in 2021 we celebrated our wedding with our closest family and friends. Now here we are after 19 years and very happy. I work as a Medical Assistant at a family practice. Francisco works as a forklift operator; he has been at the company for 20 years.

We enjoy watching movies, spending time with our fur babies, and listening to music while we clean our house. We enjoy traveling and getting to know different cultures. We also enjoy spending time with our families.

After all this time together we think alike without saying anything; we already know what the other is thinking.

Family is everything for us. We are grateful and very blessed for our families. They are very supportive in this process of adoption. We get together for birthdays and every holiday and almost every weekend. We enjoy cooking and creating memories and passing along cherished memories to our nephews and nieces. We are very selective with our friends and the ones we have we treasure.

Alfredo has four siblings and they all have spouses and children. Francisco has four siblings as well and his mother. They are all very supportive and very excited - they are already making plans and helping us choose names for both a boy or girl.

We spend holidays with our parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. We alternate houses each holiday and enjoy planning what meals and games we will be enjoying together. Our nieces and nephews are very close. They spend a lot of time together and they respect and look out for each other. We are very appreciative in our family and everyone will love our child. Our families are very enthusiastic and energetic. Our child will have the best time and our family will always be there to support us.

We live in a community in Texas that is very family-oriented and friendly. Our community provides amenities including a fishing pond, swimming pool, walking trails, park and also an elementary school within walking distance. I work 13 minutes from work, while Francisco has a longer commute of 45 minutes. We live in a two-story, 3269 sq feet house that has 5 spacious bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a study. We are very close to shops, restaurants and kid friendly entertainment facilities. We have 3 lovely miniature schnauzers ages 5 and 4 years old.

We have always wanted to adopt a child, but we felt we were not ready financially. We enjoy spending time with our 10 nephews and nieces. They range from 15-1 years old. Even though we enjoy them, we now feel that we are ready to have our own kids to love and educate and learn along with them. Our families are very supportive regarding the adoption process.

We would like to travel with the child and enjoy playtime and teaching them how to walk and learn about the world. Nothing will make us more happy than having the opportunity to raise a child and knowing that someone will always be waiting for us at home.
