Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

We don’t know the circumstances that have brought you here and we don’t know you or your background, but we do know this: You are a strong, kind, and selfless woman, for only that kind of woman is able to consider an adoption plan. We can only imagine the love you have for your child is so boundless that you’re searching for the best possible future for them.

Becoming a parent is a goal we have been working on for 15 years. To fill our home with love and laughter and to make meaningful memories has been our dream since we got married. We have always loved the idea of adoption, whether we could get pregnant or not, as we think it is a beautiful process, and we are excited to be a part of it. If chosen, we promise to give your child a good education, and they will be surrounded by people who love and support them. We can promise you we will love your child as much as you do. There will be love and laughter and music and dancing in their life. They will have a village of support, love, and guidance.

Our Story

We are both very silly and love to laugh, making jokes and talking in song lyrics and movie quotes. We love expressing our creativity by playing video games, table-top games, and role playing games. We love to cook and make new foods. We love our families and friends and love having people over to share in the warmth of our home. We love to sing, and our days are filled with songs and laughter. Josh is super smart and works in IT. He can fix just about anything and is very curious about how things work. Sarah is creative and loves to paint and read. She works in accounting and loves to decorate and make the house feel warm and comfortable. We love trivia, although Josh knows more.

 Our Extended Family

Sarah’s family is small and quiet, with an older sister and younger brother. Her sister has a 14-year-old daughter, and her brother is about to welcome his son into the world. Every Christmas Eve we watch White Christmas and graze on snack foods. Making new snacks is always a treat to share.

Josh’s family is big and loud. His older brother lives in another state, but we love it when he comes to visit. His younger sister lives nearby, and we sometimes go out for dinner or watch a movie. We have consistently done family dinners with his parents and siblings (when they’ve been nearby), and we love catching up and spending time together. He has some aunts and uncles nearby as well, and we love having family get-togethers with his cousins and their kids.

 Our Home

We live in an established, quiet neighborhood. You can often see people walking down the road with their kids or dogs. In the summer, the kids ride their bikes or play in blow-up pools in the yards. We live near a zoo and children’s museum. We are close to public and private schools that are highly rated. We have three eight-year-old cats. They are all from the same litter, and we didn't want to split up the family. All three are sweet and cuddly and enjoy a good snuggle.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We have always wanted a big family and knew we were meant to be parents. Since we have been unable to have any biological children, we were excited to explore other options to grow our family! We know the road will be long and full of obstacles, but this process has helped us grow closer to each other while making our desire to become parents even stronger. We’re so excited to be here!
