Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for viewing our profile. We are grateful for the chance to introduce our family and home to you as we look forward to the possibility of welcoming your baby into our lives. We admire the strength it takes on your behalf to consider adoption for your baby. It is a courageous and selfless decision, and we can’t begin to imagine the difficulty of such a decision. We are honored to be considered to love your child unconditionally!

We believe in open adoption and the importance of maintaining an open relationship for the child and for the birth family. We are very excited about adopting another baby as it is our personal experience with adoption that has led us to this journey again. Olivia has been asking for a sibling for over a year and is excited to read to and snuggle your sweet baby!

We hope this profile provides you with a picture of what life with our family would be like for your baby.

Our Story

We met in 2009 through a mutual friend and became best friends. We have been happily married for over 11 years and have built a strong relationship filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to each other and to God. Steve works as a sales agent in insurance, and Faith is an author and stay-at-home mom. We enjoy being outdoors, exercising, traveling with our daughter, going to the beach, serving in our church, and spending time with family and friends. We truly love each other and are grateful for such a strong marriage and friendship! We are excited to add to our family.

 Our Extended Family

Our family has grown because of adoption, and we are so thankful Olivia has so many people who love her and want to be a part of our lives. We visit them a few times a year and keep in contact weekly through FaceTime and phone calls.

Faith’s family lives about five hours away, and we travel to visit them often. She has two brothers. One brother is married with two children, a boy and a girl. They are excited about a new cousin!

Steve’s family lives about two miles from our home. He has two brothers, and his parents have been happily married for over 50 years. His parents are musicians and own a local music store.

 Our Home

We are so thankful for our neighborhood, which is tucked away in a beautiful area with walking trails throughout. We own a three-bedroom home with an office and a fenced-in backyard on a cul-de-sac. Our neighbors are wonderful, and there are many young families with lots of children. We host many get-togethers and love inviting others over for cookouts. Recently, we bought chickens to raise in our backyard, and we adopted a cat that was homeless named Gracie Girl. We are excited to fill our empty room with another child! child!

 Our Journey to Adoption

When we learned we could not have children biologically, we were devastated. We fostered for over seven years and then made the decision to adopt a child. Our journey in adoption has been beautiful. Olivia is such a gift, and we are so thankful and grateful we have the opportunity to raise her and build our relationships with her birth family. We knew adoption was God’s plan and His way of writing our story and are excited for Olivia to have a sibling and to grow our family with another child. Recently Faith received news that one of her students lost both of her parents, and we decided to foster her to provide a loving family and home to her. She is 10 years old and is excited to welcome a baby with us!
