Our Story
Natalie and Patrick are high school sweethearts whose connection began when they were paired as chemistry lab partners. What started as an easy friendship quickly grew into something deeper, and by the time Pat asked Natalie to be his “official” girlfriend, it was clear their relationship was becoming something meaningful. Their bond strengthened as they navigated major decisions about college, careers, and the future, always supporting one another and approaching life as a team.
As their lives became fuller, they moved into their first apartment together, a step that felt both exciting and completely natural. When Pat decided it was time to take the next step, he planned a heartfelt proposal that reflected their love. They married in 2023 and celebrated with a honeymoon in Saint Lucia before purchasing their first home, which has since been filled with warmth and joyful memories. Now, they feel ready and deeply excited to grow their family and share that love with a child.

Our Extended Family
We are surrounded by an incredible circle of family and friends who bring so much joy, support, and love into our lives. They are a big part of who we are, and they’re all excited to welcome a child with open arms. We are fortunate to both be so close with our families; from celebrating birthdays, to spending time together during the holidays, to weekly Sunday dinners spent laughing around the table, our gatherings are something we truly cherish. Everyone is eager to be involved, from the grandparents who can’t wait to read bedtime stories, to the cousins who are already planning playdates, to the close friends who feel more like extended family. A child entering our lives will instantly be embraced by this network of people who will love, guide, and cheer them on throughout their life.
Our Home
We live in a three-bedroom, three-bathroom colonial home in a charming and quiet suburban town. We are just a short drive away from the beach, the mountains, and a major city. Our neighborhood is filled with tree-lined streets, beautifully maintained homes, and a cozy, walkable downtown full of personality. With friendly neighbors, safe sidewalks, scenic parks, and an excellent school district, it’s truly an ideal place for a child to grow, explore, and thrive. Our home is warm, welcoming, and always filled with love and laughter, thanks in part to our two cats. Meatball and Munchkin are incredibly sweet, gentle, and friendly companions who bring so much joy to our daily lives.
Our Journey to Adoption
Travel is something that brings us so much joy, and many of our favorite memories come from exploring new places together. We love skiing and snowboarding in the winter, spending warm days at the beach together in the summer, and visiting Disney World whenever we can. Whether we’re trying a new restaurant, walking along the shoreline, or taking in beautiful scenery, we enjoy any chance to be outdoors together.
Some of our most unforgettable vacations include our honeymoon in St. Lucia, visiting several countries in Europe, and a dream trip to Hawaii. These experiences brought us even closer, and we can’t wait to share future travels and simple everyday joys, including magical adventures like Disney, with a child.
