Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering me as you make this deeply loving and thoughtful decision. Becoming a mom has been one of my biggest dreams, and I know my home and heart are open and ready to become a mother through adoption — a path I have prayed about for a long time and feel so thankful to walk. Being trusted to raise your baby would be the greatest honor of my life, and I would never take that responsibility for granted.
My life is full of love, family, and support. Your baby would grow up surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and close friends who feel like family and live nearby. I picture days spent playing outside and creating little adventures in the backyard, running through the grass and throwing a tennis ball for my golden retriever Reese, reading bedtime stories tucked under a warm blanket, singing songs in the kitchen, and cuddling up with grandparents who live just minutes away. There would be laughter during family game nights around the table, cozy winter evenings with movies by the fire, happy Christmas mornings filled with lights and tradition, and countless ordinary moments made special just by being together.
Most of all, your baby would grow up knowing they are deeply loved, safe, encouraged to be curious and confident, and always reminded of the love that brought their story to life. I would be honored to walk this journey with you.
With love,
Zehra

My Story
I love being outside and enjoying simple, active moments — paddleboarding on the lake, hiking, running, working in the yard, or taking long walks with my dog, Reese. Being near the water makes me feel calm and happy, and Reese is always right by my side. I also treasure silly family moments, especially karaoke nights belting out the 80s songs my dad raised us on — the singing isn’t great, but the laughter always is.
I’ve always loved creating and building. Drawing and painting grew into DIY projects around my home where I design spaces that feel warm and welcoming. I enjoy hosting simple dinners and game nights, filling my home with connection and joy.
My greatest passion is being an orthodontist. I love working with kids and walking alongside them as they grow in confidence. Watching a shy child slowly open up — then leave smiling freely and standing a little taller — is incredibly meaningful. Combining creativity, problem-solving, and encouraging kids makes my work deeply fulfilling.

My Extended Family
Family is the center of my life. Being 12 and 14 years older than my sister and brother, I helped care for them growing up, which created an incredibly deep bond between us. Today, my sister is my best friend and lives with me, and my brother is finishing college and becoming a young man I’m so proud of.
My parents have always shown up in meaningful ways — cheering in the stands during my soccer years and even driving seven hours to visit me during orthodontic residency so I wouldn’t feel the distance. Their love and consistency shaped the parent I hope to be. My dad’s Pakistani heritage instilled a deep respect for family and elders, reflected in my grandparents living with my parents and our weekly Sunday dinners.
My friends are truly an extension of my family. My closest friend, whom I’ve known since high school, has three nieces I adore, and re-experiencing getting to care for little ones deepened my desire to become a mom. I’m grateful for a strong circle of friends who support me, encourage me, and will love your baby dearly. Your child would grow up surrounded by a village full of love and stability.

My Home
My home is warm, welcoming, full of life, and intentionally chosen as a place to build a family filled with love and stability. I share it with my golden retriever, Reese, a gentle and loyal three-year-old who happily greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail. Our large backyard, enclosed by a white picket fence, opens to a small lake where we enjoy fishing, paddleboarding, and watching the sunset reflect across the water. The neighborhood is full of life — children riding bikes, neighbors walking dogs along the sidewalks, and families gathering at the nearby pool and tennis courts. A child here would grow up deeply supported, safe, and surrounded by family and belonging.
My Journey to Adoption
I come from a blended background that has shaped me deeply. My father is Pakistani and my mother is Caucasian, and I was raised in a home where respect, understanding, and compromise were part of everyday life. Growing up in a multicultural, interfaith family taught me to celebrate differences and lead with empathy.
I am Christian, and my faith guides my values and decisions. At the same time, I grew up celebrating both Christmas and Eid — twinkling lights, shared meals, and meaningful traditions from both sides of my family. Honoring my heritage showed me the beauty of staying rooted while embracing the wider world.
I look forward to celebrating a child’s background, raising them proud of who they are and deeply loved every day.
