Dear Expectant Mother,

We don’t know the circumstances of your pregnancy, but one thing we do know is that the decision you are making is not a decision that comes easily or without a roller coaster of emotions. We would never claim to know what you are experiencing in this decision, but we do know you would not be making this decision if it weren’t in the best interests of you and your child. As two individuals who love each other but are unable to have a child on our own, all we can do is offer our thanks and our gratitude that there are expectant mothers such as you who are brave enough to consider adoption for their child. We would not be able to fulfill our hopes and dreams without you. The unknown about your child’s future must be overwhelming. What we can do is provide you some reassurance.

Your child will be loved above all else and provided a home for them to grow and thrive in. Growing up with two adopted siblings, we know the challenges that exist for an adopted child as they grow and sometimes struggle with the question of their adoption. When explaining your child’s adoption story, it will be full of nothing but love and the desire to offer them the best life possible. The steps you are taking to provide your child with a loving home is not easy, and we would be honored to be that loving home for your child.
