My husband and I literally discussed children on our first date, as we both knew we wanted a family. We both come from large families and know how much we look forward to starting one of our own. On that first date, we both said adoption was how we wanted to grow our family. Adoption is a beautiful process that provides support and care to a mother and a future family together as one. Knowing that neither of them must do it alone. Going through adoption means we get to meet and learn about the child’s biology & heritage. So that we can pass this along to the child over the years. It allows them to understand who they are and that they were very much loved by their mother and family. It also provides the mother with that same chance to learn and understand where their child is going & how much they are going to be loved. It gives her a chance to see what their child’s future has in store and with whom. We understand this difficult choice that is being made for your child’s future.
