Dear Birthmom

We want to express our deepest gratitude and admiration for your strength and selflessness in considering adoption for your precious child. We can only imagine the difficult emotions and decisions you are facing, and we want you to know your courage is truly inspiring.

We have longed to start a family together. The idea of welcoming your child into our home fills our hearts with immense joy and love. If given the opportunity, we promise to provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where your child can thrive and grow.

Your child’s well-being and happiness will always be our top priority. We will honor your choice by ensuring they know how deeply loved they are, not only by us but by you as well. Your brave decision will be shared with them in a way that celebrates your love and sacrifice. We want to assure you that your child will have every opportunity for a bright future, surrounded by a supportive and caring family. Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. Your trust means the world to us, and we will be forever grateful for the chance to love and cherish your child.

Our Story

The best words to describe us as a couple are committed, empathetic, and adventurous. We love to explore new places and do new activities together. Some of our favorite activities include cooking, trying new restaurants, playing board games, and traveling. We also are committed to our relationship by trying our best to put ourselves in the other shoes to gain a better understanding of one another and forge a stronger bond. These qualities are something we will continue to carry into parenthood. Jesse works as a clinical recruitment and retention manager, and Callie works as a VDC engineer for a robotics company. We both love our jobs and the flexibility that comes with them. Jesse’s office is just a few minutes down the road from home, and Callie is able to work full time remotely. We are beyond excited to share our love of exploration and enthusiasm for the world with our growing family.

 Our Extended Family

Family is very important to us, and we spend a lot of time together. Collectively, we have over 25 cousins between us. All of our parents live close by, and we are very grateful for all of the support they show us. We have family dinner night every other week. In addition to this, we often get together for family game nights. We own just about every family game ever made. Every Friday night, we have a family movie night where we go all out with our favorite snacks.

During the summers, we love to spend time at the beach, pool, or our family river property. The river was a huge part of Callie’s childhood, and she would love to share that with our future children.

One of our favorite annual family traditions is getting together to decorate Christmas cookies. Last year we hosted about 40 of our close family members. We love all the laughter and seeing the little ones having fun and getting messy. This was always a favorite tradition growing up as a child, and now it warms our hearts to see the next generation of littles in our family getting to experience this same joy.

 Our Home

We live in an area of Texas that has some of the best schools in our city. Our city has a ton of activities for kids and family. These include theme parks, a zoo, and children’s museums. Our home has four bedrooms with three bathrooms. We also own private river property just outside of the city that our children will be able to grow up on. Our home is close to several parks and a local library, which we visit regularly with our puppy and two children. We have two young girls who live with us 50% of the time (every other week). Our daughters are ages six and eight. We also have one cat and one Aussiedoodle that live in our home with us.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We always knew we wanted to grow our family together. We often dreamed about this future with each other, even before marriage. However, not long after getting married, we were faced with fertility issues. This was always at the back of our minds because at a very young age, Callie was run over. This accident caused scar tissue to form, which prevented us from getting pregnant and having children on our own. We are so grateful for the life we have together and for all the struggles that have brought us closer together. It is through these life struggles that we have grown an overwhelming amount of gratitude for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption!
