We are writing to you today with hearts full of gratitude and hope. Thank you for your courageous and loving decision, which has given us an opportunity to fulfill our dream of starting a family. As you navigate this difficult journey, please know that we are fervently praying for your clarity, comfort, and peace.

We are Eric and Allison from Pennsylvania. We have been happily married for 4 ½ years. We share a relationship built on our faith, love, adventure, and deep respect. Our struggle with infertility and miscarriage, along with our strong faith has guided us to the gift of adoption. We know love builds a family, and we’re ready to share our hearts completely with a child. As parents, we promise to provide your child with a life filled with safety, opportunity, and most importantly, unconditional love.

We will encourage curiosity, creativity, and kindness - and will always honor where they came from. We will speak of you with respect and gratitude, making sure your child knows their story began with immense love. We don’t take lightly the decision you are making. Our Story

As a family, we have big dreams and we’re passionate about our hobbies. Eric loves sports, boating, and fitness, while Allison’s hobbies are traveling, boating, and curling up with a good book. We both enjoy cheering on our favorite football teams; The Green Bay Packers and The Pittsburgh Steelers. We try to get to one game per season, and when we aren’t at the stadium, we are enthusiastically watching from our home!

Eric loves to start his day being active. We can picture your child riding along in a jogging stroller while he goes for a run around our neighborhood. Allison loves to read. We can’t wait to nurture a love of learning and snuggling up reading books together each night before bed. We’re excited to share our passions and also to discover what our child loves- whether that’s sports, art, books, music, or something completely new. More than anything, we want to nurture a sense of curiosity and confidence, helping them grow into whoever they are meant to be.

 Our Extended Family

Our beautiful families and close knit friends mean everything to us. We both come from loving, supportive families who are over-the-moon excited about our adoption journey, and eager to welcome a new little one. Our family and friends, aka our village, are a big part of our lives. We host game nights, birthday celebrations, and Sunday dinners where laughter always fills the air. Your child would have two amazing sets of grandparents who enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, especially when it means filling the house with the smell of fresh-baked cookies, or homemade pasta sauce, with the ingredients coming straight from the garden. We’re blessed to live less than 10 miles from Allison’s extended family. Both families spend not only holidays together, but random weeknights and vacations together, too! Both of our brothers and their wives have young children ages 3 and under, so your child would be surrounded by love, encouragement, and giggles as they play endless rounds of tag with their cousins.

 Our Home

Together, we’ve created a joyful home filled with family traditions, cozy dinners, and lots of hugs. We live in a small, lively college town. Our neighborhood is safe and filled with families playing and dogs going on walks. We have a warm, cozy, two story home with big windows overlooking our backyard. On a typical weekend in our neighborhood, you will see kids riding their bikes or playing capture the flag. We’re lucky to have a wonderful backyard where we spend time gardening, playing with our dog, Louie, and hosting family barbecues. It’s easy to imagine a child playing on the swingset or roasting marshmallows by the fire pit on summer nights. More than anything, our home is a place where love comes first. It’s where we’ll celebrate milestones big and small, create new family traditions, and make sure your child always knows how deeply loved they are-by us and by you.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We believe life is meant to be enjoyed and shared, and we can’t wait to share our favorite places and make incredible memories with a child. We can already imagine little adventures together: building sandcastles at the beach or watching fireflies light up summer nights. We both love traveling and exploring new places, even if it’s just a weekend road trip. Our favorite adventures aren’t just about the destination, rather it’s about reconnecting with each other amidst the busyness of our lives. Our favorite adventure was a trip to Mexico with our whole family. Experiencing cultures and meeting new people has taught us the value of kindness, curiosity, and open hearts- lessons we want to pass on to our child.
