It is hard to put into words how grateful we are for the sacrifices you’ve made. We imagine it has probably been an emotional journey at times, and we want you to know how brave and strong you are in our eyes. You’ll always have a special place in our hearts and in your child’s heart too.
Should you choose us, we will provide your child with a warm, loving home filled with joy and laughter. They will make memories going on camping trips, boating on the lake, and will learn to appreciate the simple moments in life. We’ll read books together, play sports in the yard, and dance in the kitchen. They will be adored by our son and all of our extended family. We are so excited to add to our family and hope this paints a good picture of the life we plan to give your child.

Our Story
We’re John and Becca, and we’re honored to meet you! A little about us… We met shortly after college, after talking at a friend’s wedding. For our first date, we got coffee then hiked at a local waterfall. We got married in 2022, welcomed our son in 2025, and look forward to adding another new member to our family.
John is a steady rock. He is dependable, loyal, adventurous, and always ready to toss out a funny joke. John does a great job providing for us and is a strong family man. Becca is a kind, energetic, and creative gal. She has a big heart for others and always makes sure people feel welcomed. We enjoy hosting family, reading books together, and hiking at state parks.
Our son is an active, curious, social child. He loves playing hide & seek, exploring our house, and meeting other children. He will be so excited to have a new sibling!

Our Extended Family
We are close with both sides of our family. Becca is one of four, and we often go boating, have family dinners, and spend holidays with her parents and siblings. She has 35 cousins, and a few of them are adopted! John is the youngest of eight, and he grew up on a hobby farm where his parents still live. We have 24 nieces and nephews on John’s side, who affectionately look up to their Uncle Johnny and Auntie Becca.
John’s family is Scandinavian, and every Christmas we make “krumkake,” a Norwegian cookie. In the winter, we do a weeklong cabin trip where we play broomball on the frozen lake, swim in the indoor pool, have pizza parties, and play board games. It’s a great way to grow closer with the entire extended family. Becca’s family enjoys celebrating the Fourth of July. Our day is typically filled with festivities such as a 5K run, a parade, a picnic, an evening BBQ, and an epic firework show to end the night.
Our family is very supportive of adoption, and we are excited to include a new little one in these family traditions.

Our Home
We live in a safe, friendly, suburban neighborhood. It has a small town feel but is still close to the city. We have great neighbors who are always looking out for one another. During the summer, we enjoy having friends and family over for bonfires or BBQs in our backyard.
Our house is near several parks & lakes. At the local lakes, we enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating in the summer! At home, we also have a cat named Noodle. She is cuddly and curious. Her one trick is that she can fetch!

Our Journey to Adoption
When we first got married, we had a difficult time getting pregnant, so we started considering adoption. We were blessed to get pregnant with our son, and still believe that adoption is meant to be part of our story.
Three of our family members were adopted, and we have several friends who have adopted children as well. Through this, we’ve had great role models who have taught us how to build a loving and accepting home.
