Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
We know this is a very intense time in your life and want to offer a word of encouragement and let you know how amazing it is that you have chosen to bring this child into the world. This choice you are making is a pure act of love and incredible selflessness. You are a warrior to choose this for the baby inside you! We know this is not an easy journey, and we pray for comfort and peace through this decision. We know you are seeing many profiles, and selecting a family for this baby is one of the toughest challenges of your life. We pray you select the right family for you and this sweet baby, even if it isn’t us! We genuinely want what is best for you and the baby.
Our relationship with Jesus is central to our lives, and we want to focus the way we grow and nurture our family around the love he has shown us. We know that even as little ones, children need to know they are loved and cherished. They need dedicated time with each of their parents, and they need to hear and be shown that they are loved and important as often as possible.
If you select us, we promise this sweet baby will grow up in a loving household that is full of laughter, fun, and love. We will show this child the love and care every child deserves. Each child is an incredibly special gift, and we will never take that for granted.

Our Story
We met at work early in our careers and were engaged about a year later! We both work in operations for food manufacturers making recognizable products. Holly is a loving wife and mom to our two boys, Weber (4) and Archer (2). She enjoys baking sourdough treats for our family and friends, woodworking projects, planting flowers and vegetables with our boys in our small yard, and exploring the outdoors: hiking, running, swimming, and anything else that allows for time with family. Zak is a gentle-hearted husband and dad who enjoys adventuring in the great outdoors with our family, reading, cycling, watching sports, and a morning cup of coffee. Our sons are adventurous, silly, and so sweet and loving. We like to live an active lifestyle that involves enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.
Our Extended Family
Holly grew up in the Midwest, spending most of her childhood in Ohio. Holly is the youngest of three children. Her sister and her husband have three boys under the age of eight. Her brother and his wife have two boys and a girl under the age of seven. Holly’s parents are originally from a small town in Northwest Michigan and recently restored an old farmhouse out in the countryside near Lake Michigan. During the summer, we always go to Holly’s family home to enjoy swimming in the lake, playing on the beach, picking summer fruit, relaxing in the hot tub, and spending time playing with Grammy and Poppy and all the cousins!
Zak is from Tennessee and is the oldest of four children. He has two sisters and one brother. Both of his sisters are married, and his brother is single. Zak’s siblings and their spouses are incredible aunts and uncles to our two boys and are very excited at the possibility of extending their love to another niece or nephew! Zak’s mom lives in Tennessee and hosts our gatherings at her home whenever we visit. We typically make a trip to see Zak’s family at least once each year.

Our Home
We are fortunate to have a house that is perfect for growing a family and providing a stable environment for each of our little ones. We live in a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in a suburb 40 minutes from several large cities. Though close to a few metropolitan areas, our town is more of a farm town, which makes for lots of fun adventures, like visiting farmers markets, pumpkin patches, and spring festivals. Our town has numerous biking/walking trails, parks, and playgrounds. We have a six-year-old Lab/retriever mix who is very calm and honestly is very lazy. She loves her daily walk but spends the remainder of her day looking for a sunny spot to take a cozy nap in.
Our Journey to Adoption
Adoption is something both of us felt a calling to even before we met. Early in our relationship, we discussed adoption as an option for building our family and were so encouraged to know we felt the same way! A few years ago, before either of our sons were born, we explored adoption. We then got pregnant with our oldest son and moved across the country, which put our adoption plans on hold. Now, after having two children, our desire to adopt has grown even stronger! The incredible blessings and joy parenting has brought us increases that desire to expand our family through adoption. We would love the unique privilege to be able to nurture, guide, and love another little one.
