Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
We know this decision for you is not an easy one. We can’t say that we’ve been in the same shoes that you are currently in. Although, we do know that with any difficult or challenging situation, we rely on God, each other and our loved ones to get through tough times.
We don’t underestimate or downplay the seriousness of what you’re going through. We admire your courageousness and selflessness in this process, and we pray that God will give you grace and strength to help you along this unique journey you are on. We want you to know that we are here in support of your decision and have nothing but the utmost respect for you in searching for a loving and fitting home for your child.
If you decide to choose us, please know your baby will be surrounded by unconditional love within a very supportive community. He or she would be raised in our loving farmhouse with wonderful memories of farm animals, building forts, winters of snow castles and sled rides, and warm summer nights at the drive-in movie theater. We are excited and hopeful to one day raise a child that we can share new life experiences with and give them all the wonderful opportunities we had as children.
Whatever individual or couple you decide on raising your child, we wish you and your child, along with the adoptive parent(s) you choose, a lifetime filled with joyful memories within a loving family and community.

Our Story
We are Kristina and Alex from Illinois. We met in June of 2013 through our workplace. Kristina is kindhearted, compassionate, diligent, and fun-loving who enjoys the simple things in life. She works from home as an Invoicing Clerk. Alex is hardworking, self-driven, humorous, Mr. Fixit type of person who enjoys quality time spent with family and friends. He commutes for work on weekdays and drives tractor-trailers for a living. We started dating in July of 2014, became engaged in June of 2018, and married each other in August of 2019 in our church with a following reception at a farm venue. In 2021, we bought our first house together in the country and started a small hobby farm. We both share the same passion for animals. We both have childhood memories tying to strong family bonds and traditions and hope to one day share those experiences with our children.
Our Extended Family
We both have big families that we are very close with. Between both of our families, we have ten nieces and nephews that we love visiting any chance we get.
Alex has an older brother and an older sister. Both of his siblings are married and each have two children. Alex’s parents are also married and most of his family lives about an hour away. Traditions on Alex’s side include seeing Christmas lights, holiday family time, themed birthday parties, and homemade baking. We enjoy family time spent socializing together at each other's homes having dinner and game night, attending our nieces and nephews sporting games, and warm nights of laughter around a campfire.
Kristina has two older sisters and a younger brother. Her oldest sister has four children, and her second oldest sister has two children. Kristina’s mom moved to Tennessee where she has two beautiful horses; it’s always fun to visit. Her father is remarried and has adopted a little girl. Family gatherings are always fun and loud with lots of cooking and baking. We always find interesting craft shows and love to explore each booth. We love trying new restaurants and getting together for family breakfasts.

Our Home
We live outside of a small quiet town with an amazing neighbor that brings his grandchildren to come visit us quite a bit to play with all our animals. We live on five acres and own chickens, guineas, ducks, turkeys, pigs, a horse, two dogs and two cats. We chose this location due to the school district, local activities such as hiking, cute little towns close by, festivals all year around and all the space on our property. During winter we use the 4-wheeler to pull people around on a sled. We are surrounded by farm fields and the landowner gave us permission during winter to drive our 4-wheeler around on his fields. This is a wonderful loving community to raise a baby.
Our Journey to Adoption
For us, adoption has been part of our conversations for a future family due to us not being able to have biological children. Together we share the same dream of starting a family and raising children. Adoption is our hope to raise children with the same loving experiences we have had and new experiences as well. We look forward to all the memories we would be able to help create for our future children. After speaking with family and friends that have gone through adoption, we feel that this journey will bring us closer to our long-waited dream and we are very grateful that we are able to pursue this process.
