Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
We have been at a loss for words to say besides thank you. Thank you for considering us for the privilege of loving your baby as our own. The selflessness and sacrifice you show is beyond anything we can ever thank you enough for. Our desire is for you to feel love and peace when considering us.
Through Faith’s adoption, we understand the responsibility physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially for giving your baby unconditional love, which we feel highly confident in doing. Please understand we aren’t perfect, but we hope you know our promise and commitment to loving your baby. We commit to having a relationship however you desire that to grow and will support your values. We will provide your baby with a life that is full of adventures: hiking, swimming at the lake, watching sunsets, and vacations near and far. We will include traditions such as making gingerbread houses at Christmas, carving pumpkins, and eating cake at midnight for fun.
They will be surrounded by extended family and friends who love them as their own. Your baby will be prepared for anything life may throw at them by values we will instill in them. We prioritize family above all, sitting down together for dinner, and showing grace and forgiveness to everyone. We commit to having honest conversations and celebrating each other's differences. These are what our hearts stand firm in, and we would be honored to be chosen as the parents of your child. We cannot thank you enough for considering us as part of your journey.

Our Story
We are Ben and Faith! Our story began in 2016, when we met at Dairy Queen on Mother’s Day. By 2017 we had started dating. In 2020 we got engaged, and in 2021 we got married. What are the chances that a boy from Wisconsin and a girl born in China but raised in Georgia would meet? Ben is the funny one, makes everyone feel loved and safe, and is always joking. Ben works as a local city freight driver and enjoys DIY projects and working on cars. Faith is nurturing, creative, quiet-spirited, and calm in all situations. Faith is a physical therapist assistant and enjoys home projects, taking photos, and wedding coordinating. We love adventures, including hiking or going to the lake, beach, or mountains. We love creating memories, planned or spontaneous, along with keeping family traditions, like sitting down for dinner each night and talking about our day.
Our Extended Family
Faith was adopted into a large family that included her parents, older brother, and sister, who have their own families. She has three nieces, two nephews, three grandparents living, three aunts, three uncles, nine cousins, and 22 second cousins. Family traditions include the beach in the summer, driving around to look at Christmas lights, and going to the mountains for New Year’s.
Ben’s mom and his sister and her family, including two nieces and one nephew, live 18 hours away. Ben’s dad and stepmom live 40 minutes from us, along with his three aunts, three uncles, and two cousins. He has an aunt and an uncle along with four cousins, 6 hours away. Ben’s family traditions include going to his uncle’s, who has twenty acres of land we spend time hanging out at, walking trails, letting our dogs run around, and doing campfires with s’mores and holiday traditions like Easter egg hunts, pumpkin carving, and hayrides in the fall.
Although some family members live farther away, we make it a priority to call, FaceTime, and visit each year. We were both raised to be family oriented despite distance or relationship as well as the importance of keeping with traditions and creating our own.

Our Home
We live in the country on one acre of land to run around on. We have neighbors who have children we hope our future children will grow up with. There's a local park and playground half a mile down the road. Our local schools are five minutes away; we have lots of friends and neighbors who either work or attend there, which makes it feel like home. We live close to the lake, ocean, and mountains, which bring adventure, fun, and scenery. We have two animals: a 13-year-old turtle named Tay and our dog, Maggie, who loves to cuddle, play fetch, and swim in the lake. She is wonderful with kids as we have seen her interact with our neighbors’ children and family.
Our Journey to Adoption
We have always dreamed of starting a family; however, due to infertility, pregnancy is unlikely. Our infertility, although hard and disappointing, drew us closer together and gave us time to consider our desires and what we found important when raising kids. Before marriage, we considered adoption whether we had biological kids or not. Adoption holds a special place in our hearts as Faith was adopted at eight months old from China. Faith’s life changed as a loving family created traditions, stability, values, and skills that prepared Faith for all life encounters. We know the significance of LIFE that comes from adoption. We desire to grow our family, knowing they are specifically chosen by God for us to love unconditionally, and provide a stable and fun home.
