Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

We admire your strength and bravery for going through this process. We cannot fathom the amount of courage it takes to carry a tiny human for nine months and allow another family to raise the child. You’re considering giving us the opportunity to create a family of our own, which we couldn’t do otherwise. We can assure you that your baby will be loved, heard, supported, and encouraged to be whoever they decide to be. We vow to love this baby beyond words.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to consider us as potential parents for your child. Throughout this journey, we want you to be as comfortable as possible, and please know we will support and respect you for your decisions.

Our Story

We both grew up in Colorado and met while Blake was assigned to an Air Force base close to Ashlynn’s hometown. As soon as we met in 2020, we instantly knew we were life partners and married after six months. Two years later, the military decided to send us to Blake’s fourth assignment, in Georgia. Blake has been in the military for 11 years working as a military working dog trainer. Ashlynn has been a dental assistant since 2019 and has recently found a new passion for pediatric dentistry. Together we love to add to our Star Wars Lego collection, try new and different foods, and visit our extended family in Texas and back in Colorado. We collectively decided we are the funniest couple anyone has ever met.

 Our Extended Family

Ashlynn comes from a strong Italian family that has passed down many family traditions. Ashlynn’s favorite tradition is making homemade stuffed rigatoni every Thanksgiving. We started to incorporate this tradition when we bought our first home together in Georgia. Teaching a child how to prepare this meal is something Ashlynn looks forward to.

Blake grew up in a close-knit family that has given him the love, encouragement, and support that makes him the successful man he is today. Growing up, his family always hosted gatherings to celebrate anything and everything.

We are excited to pass down our traditions and celebrations to our future children so they know how loved and supported they are.

 Our Home

We live in a cul-de-sac that has a good mixture of younger and older residents who are friendly and always looking over the subdivision. There is a new park three miles from our home that has a picnic area, playground, and splash pad that is always full of children playing. We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom, ranch-style house with a spacious backyard. We have three dogs (Emmitt, Hank, and Hattie) and two cats (Pickles and Olive). Hank is already preparing us to be human parents by taking out EVERY single dog toy from the bin…every day.

 Our Journey to Adoption

More than anything, we want to provide a safe and loving home for a child whose biological parents wish the same. Ashlynn works with children every day and feels the gratification of helping kids overcome their fears and anxieties. We’re excited to give a child the opportunity to live their best life to their fullest potential.
