Dear Birthmom

This is probably the hardest to write because trying to put emotions into words is never easy. We will never fully understand your emotions, what you have gone through, or the heartache you must feel in this decision, but we admire the strength it took to get here. We fully understand this is not a decision you came to lightly, but we hope you find peace in your decision.

Should you choose us, we will provide a warm, loving home for your baby. This has been a long wait for us, but we are more than ready to give a loving and caring home, education, and life experiences full of travel. We are at a financial place to give a full life to your baby and to meet all their needs. Your baby will be surrounded by family, friends, and fur siblings who will love them unconditionally. Grandparents will teach them different cultures, in-laws will teach them sports, siblings will teach them about life, great-aunts will teach them to cook, and they will have a niece to grow up with.

We know your decision to follow this path is the hardest decision you have made and probably will ever make. We admire your courage and selflessness. We would be honored, excited, and forever grateful should you choose us. We will strive every day to make you proud and confident in the decision you have made.

Our Story

We are Bryan and Sam from Arkansas. We met while working in an emergency department 20 years ago, starting as coworkers and evolving from there. Sam nursed in emergency medicine/ICU before furthering her career by pursuing nurse anesthesia. She specializes in pediatric anesthesia. Bryan has been in emergency medical services for 29 years. He is a paramedic in an emergency department. When we are not at the hospital, we are training dogs. We also love being outdoors. We enjoy traveling in our camper and take our dogs with us everywhere. Hiking is a passion of ours. Sam is easygoing and honest and enjoys yoga and reading. Bryan is hardworking and always good for a laugh. He works as a part-time police officer, and he enjoys studying jujitsu.

 Our Extended Family

Bryan has two sons from a previous marriage who are 28 and 24. Our 24-year-old and his wife just had a baby. Both boys live within 40 minutes of us. Bryan also has a biological sister he is close to and two nephews who are 25 and 21. Bryan has a large extended family that all live within an hour away. He is still in touch with his biological family and has a rather large family from his adoptive parents. The holidays are always loud and full of family and food. We are close to our daughter-in-law’s family. We often go camping and traveling together. She has a brother and two half-brothers who make our vacations entertaining.

Sam is an only child. Her parents are in the process of moving into an in-law suite with us and are ready to be grandparents. The rest of her family is spread out across the world.

 Our Home

We both work in Tennessee, but we live in Arkansas. Our home sits on five acres. Our neighborhood is unique in that each house has acreage, keeping us in a neighborhood but spaced apart. This is great for us owning dogs and training them. We have four dogs: three German shepherds and a miniature dachshund. Our dogs are important to us. We have put a lot of time into their training. Zeus we got as a puppy. Tallyn, Roxy, and Oreo are all rescued. Zeus and Tallyn are certified service dogs, and Roxy has been trained as a diabetic alert dog. She was originally trained for Sam’s dad but paused her training after he got sick. Little Oreo, our miniature dachshund, rules the roost.

 Our Journey to Adoption

After failing to conceive naturally, we sought fertility specialists to no avail. We have always remained hopeful and have faith that what is meant for us will come. Bryan is adopted, so after accepting infertility, we discussed adoption. A friend who used Angel Adoption led us here. Once we started this journey, it seemed this was the path we have been waiting on all this time. We did wait a little longer than anticipated, but doing so has allowed us to be in a place where we can be there for our children and provide a good home life. We are physically, emotionally, and financially ready for this journey. We are so grateful for the life we have built and can’t wait to share it with a little one.
