Dear Birthmom

As we sat trying to write this, we began to realize how difficult it must be for you to decide who the best fit will be for your baby from a short letter. We want to start off by offering our sincerest appreciation and commending you for your strength and courage as you navigate your adoption plans. We can’t begin to imagine how incredibly difficult this choice is, and we can’t express what an honor it would be for us to be chosen as adoptive parents for your baby.

Adoption was not a decision we made lightly. We wanted to ensure we were mentally, emotionally, and financially ready to provide your baby with the most loving, nurturing, and secure home possible. The immense support we have received from our family and friends helps to solidify that adoption is the path intended for us to start our family. Since the early stages of our relationship, we have always talked about names and nursery ideas and have envisioned all the future life events that fatherhood would bring. We are filled with excitement and joy that our next journey is within reach and that you will be able to make our dream become a reality.

Your baby will be the center of our entire world, and they will never go a day without unconditional love and support if you choose us. We promise to give the very best for the baby entrusted to us and to do everything we can to make sure they have a life filled with adventures, happiness, laughter, and love. Thank you for your consideration, and we hope to be meeting you and your baby very soon!

With love,
Bryar & Chance

Our Story

We’re Bryar and Chance, a dynamic duo that has been inseparable since we met six years ago. We tied the knot in October 2023, and we couldn't be more excited for the journey ahead! Bryar thrives as a logistics analyst while also diving into the world of real estate. Chance, on the other hand, is an architectural project manager, working diligently toward becoming a licensed builder. Our shared passion for real estate, design, and construction inspired us to launch our own design-build company, where we’ve collaborated on numerous exciting projects together. Though we embody the saying “opposites attract,” it’s our differences that truly strengthen our bond. We pride ourselves on being a happy, loving, and ambitious couple who believes in kindness and giving back. When we’re not working, you can find us enjoying quality time with family and friends, playing with our adorable dog, playing board games, and dreaming up our future together. We can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us!

 Our Extended Family

We both come from small immediate families; Bryar has one sister, and Chance is an only child. This has led us to want to create a large family of our own. We are both extremely close with our moms, and our families have been extremely accepting of us and are ecstatic at us having a baby. We live close to Bryar’s mom and sister, which allows us to spend time with them frequently. We are lucky to be able to watch our two-year-old nephew some weekends and would love for him to have a close cousin to grow up with. Chance’s mom lives a little farther away, but that doesn’t stop us from seeing her a couple times a month at the least.

Chance has a large extended family with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. We are close with his extended family and see them often. We plan for visits and adventures with his cousins. We go boating, camping, and river tubing and are always planning something next together. We both come from very close-knit families that help with anything and everything. Our families can’t wait for us to start a family of our own.

 Our Home

We are in the process of building our forever home, which will have four bedrooms, a big yard, and space for our family to grow. Our new home will be surrounded by hundreds of acres of conservation land with highly ranked schools and a neighborhood filled with families. We also have a family lake house in northern Michigan, where we enjoy spending our summer weekends boating, sitting around a bonfire, and relaxing. We have a teacup chihuahua named Diego who is five years old and has a personality all his own. Diego is playful and happy and loves to snuggle. He loves it when he gets to see our nephew, and we know he will be amazing welcoming a baby into our family.

 Our Journey to Adoption

Since the beginning of our relationship, we have discussed both of our desires to start a family. We both have wanted to have a family and become dads for as long as we can remember. We explored different options to start our family, and no matter how much we discussed or how much we weighed the different options, we always ended with adoption being our top choice. We know adoption is a continuous and ever-changing process for a birthmother, child, and hopefully us. Our desire to start a family and provide a successful, happy, healthy, and loving life for a child is what has led us to adoption.
