Our Story

We are a happily married and fun-loving couple. We were both born in India in a Hindu culture, surrounded by a community that values strong family bonds, respect for elders, and high moral standards. Devangi moved to the USA with her parents when she was 13, and Raj moved to the USA when he was 23. We met at work in 2012 and got married in 2014. We both have stable jobs working at a pharmaceutical company, holding management-level positions. Our daily routine involves morning prayers in our home temple before starting our day. We like to spend time together by doing daily household activities and watching TV together. We are an outdoor-loving couple, and we like to go hiking and biking when we are not working. We also have a shared love for travel, aspiring to witness the Wonders of the World together.

 Our Extended Family

We both have big extended families. Devangi’s family includes her parents, one brother, her brother’s wife, one paternal uncle, three maternal aunts, one maternal uncle, and nine cousins. Raj’s family include his parents, one sister, his sister's husband and two daughters (twins), four paternal aunts, two maternal uncles, and 11 cousins. We both are very close to both sides of the family.

Devangi’s parents live with her brother and his wife in the same town, where we visit them every day. Devangi’s brother and his wife are also outdoor lovers, and we all spend time together doing outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and family picnics.

Raj’s family is in India, and we eagerly await the arrival of his parents from India to stay with us in the USA as we both believe in the concept of a joint family. Despite the physical distance, we maintain daily communication with his parents and sister’s family in India, and we visit them for a few weeks every year. Spending time with our family brings us immense joy and a sense of fulfillment for both of us.

 Our Home

We live in the state of Pennsylvania, near the heart of the great outdoors. We live in an area of a diverse community with multiple ethnicities. We own our beautiful home, built in 2016 and bought as new construction. It has two stories with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms—perfect for a small family. Our area school district is considered to be one of the best in the county.

 Our Journey to Adoption

As we both grew up in a community with strong family values, we are very eager to start our own family. We went through multiple infertility treatments, including IUI and IVF, with no success. So we have decided to start our family through adoption and cannot wait any longer. We’re so excited! We would consider ourselves very lucky and honored to raise a child and start our family.
