We understand what a huge blessing this would be for us. We both have had family members adopt or have been adopted themselves and are extremely grateful for the selflessness and maturity of those expectant mothers.
Allison has known for most of her life that she could never have a biological child, and we decided we wanted to adopt early on in our relationship. We would love nothing more than to grow our family and bring a baby into our lives. If given this opportunity, we want you to know this baby will be loved more than anything in the world and given every opportunity. You would be giving us the son or daughter we can raise as our own, make memories with, and help grow. Our Story
We were introduced on a blind date by Seth’s Aunt Sue and have been together ever since. Allison and Aunt Sue are both nurses at a birthing center. Allison has been a registered nurse for 11 years and currently works in the neonatal intensive care unit. Allison loves being able to be a part of these new parents’ special days and taking care of their newborns. Seth is an IT analyst for a manufacturing company and likes being able to problem solve and work on special projects. We both like to read and enjoy playing board games and cooking together. We spend a lot of time with our families. We like to travel and explore new places and recently went to Iceland for our honeymoon. We have two dogs who love to run and play frisbee. Seth also likes video games, and Allison likes to watch movies.
Our Extended Family
Allison has a twin sister and a younger brother she is close to. They frequently get together on the weekends at the family farm and have bonfires, eat meals, and take the dogs for rides on the Gator. Allison’s mom’s side has a big extended family that includes three uncles, their families, and her grandparents. Allison has over ten cousins on her mom’s side; they all live close by and have big family gatherings during the holidays. On Allison's dad's side of the family, she has two aunts and four cousins; two of those cousins were adopted.
Seth has a younger brother who has a fiancée and a daughter. Seth lives close to his mother and stepfather and enjoys spending time with them playing board games, watching movies, or just hanging out. Seth’s stepfather has a large family that lives a couple of hours away. Seth’s father lives out in the country. Seth has two aunts and two uncles on his mother’s side. Seth also has two aunts and three uncles on his father’s side. He has one grandmother on his father’s side. He has three first cousins he also sees around the holidays.

Our Home
We live in a three-bedroom ranch home with a fenced-in backyard. Our house is part of a large neighborhood and is close to our downtown area, where there are lots of restaurants, parks, shops, and a few play centers for kids. It is a small and welcoming community in Indiana, where our neighbors look out for each other. We live next to a great school system that has many achievements. We have two dogs, Max and Luna. Max is an Australian shepherd and loves to play fetch with his frisbee. Luna is a German shepherd and is content to lay on the couch and take naps but also loves to run at our parents’ farm.
Our Journey to Adoption
Allison is unable to have biological children and has always known she wanted to adopt. We both come from close-knit families and knew from early on in our relationship that we wanted to grow our family. This is our first time through the adoption process, but it is a road we are excited to take. We both have family members who were adopted, and we know what a blessing it can be. We look forward to the opportunity to be a part of this special process and bring home the most precious gift.
