Dear expecting mother,

First, we want to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. Whether or not we are the right fit, it truly means so much to us that you are reading and learning about who we are. We know considering an adoption plan is difficult, and we hold so much respect for you as you consider what is best for your child. While we are unable to have a biological child, we have always known we are meant to be fathers. For us, family isn’t defined by biology. It's defined by love, commitment, and showing up every single day.

If chosen, we promise to provide a home that is safe, joyful, and full of encouragement. We want your child to feel free to be exactly who they are and to grow into their fullest potential. We look forward to birthday parties with homemade cakes, trips to see Grandma and Grandpa, family adventures near and far, and a house filled with love and laughter. We value education and will be present for homework at the kitchen table, cheering on every milestone and nurturing curiosity, kindness, and confidence. Most of all, our home will always be a place of comfort and unconditional love, with open arms, a warm bed, and a promise that they are cherished every single day.

Our Story

We have been together for 6 years and have been married for almost 3 of them. We met in April 2020 - during the Pandemic - through the dating app, Tinder, and would facetime every day for 3 hours. We met in person a month later where we went on a picnic in Milwaukee. Matthew made wonderful homemade bread. After that date, we have been together ever since.

A year and a half later, we went on a trip to New York City and Matt proposed to Matthew. Matt had many ideas of how to propose, but all fell through, so Matt proposed in their hotel room before seeing a show. After the proposal, we went to a Sushi restaurant and we go there every time we are in New York City.

We got married in June 2023 in Milwaukee. Since our wedding, we have had many adventures together from traveling to performing together. One of our favorite places we traveled together was to Australia and New Zealand. We have always supported each other in our dreams both together and individually. Our greatest adventure one day will be becoming fathers.

 Our Extended Family

We both come from large, close-knit families who live nearby and are so excited to welcome and love your child. Matt has his parents, sister, brother-in-law, one dog brother and two dog nieces. Matthew has his parents, brother, and one dog sister. Our families enjoy getting together and having game nights, cooking together, and celebrating holidays and birthdays. Between our families, there are so many different interests such as sports, music, academics, and more, so your child will always have someone to support them in their passions and everyone will cheer them on.

Friends are also important to us and play a big part in our lives. Our friends are like family to us and we love to spend time with them. We are very excited as some of our friends are starting to raise their families as well and we want the children to grow up together. Between our family and friends, we have a terrific support system that is ready to welcome your child into it.

 Our Home

Our home is beautiful, warm, and inviting. Our house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our basement is renovated with enough room to play. We live with our eight-year-old calico cat, Callie. She is the most loving and playful cat, and is looking for a baby brother or sister she can curl up with. Near our house, there is a park with a playground and public pool. We live near young families with children who are always outside playing and riding bikes. We live in a highly rated school district and are close to many great shops, local restaurants, and wonderful beaches. In addition, there are multiple museums within half an hour from us. Our neighborhood provides many opportunities for your child to engage in their interests in a safe environment.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We love creating adventures, whether it is around the world or in our own backyard. We have been to different parts of the world together such as France, Italy, and Spain. We are big travelers and want to share our love of exploring with your child. Though big vacations are nice, we love adventuring within our own community. We love to explore new restaurants and activities that our city has to offer. One of our favorite things to do is to go mini golfing and get ice cream after. We can’t wait to share this experience, and many others, with your child.
