Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
As I write this heartfelt letter to you, I want to first thank you for choosing to read my profile. The loving sacrifice of choosing adoption is not something that can be taken lightly. I am inspired by your courage and strength to make this decision for your child, giving people like me a chance at having their dreams come true. Maybe that person can be me.
As I dream of what I can offer your child, I feel a sense of closeness with you as you have the same hopes and dreams. Your courage is an inspiration of strength as you put your baby above all else. That honor, if given to me, will be upheld by your admiration and trust in me. Your child will learn to know that same kind of strength and determination that you gave them through the love of adoption. Your child will be told every day how lucky they are for the beautiful mother who brought them into this world. There will always be a special place in my heart that will be filled with gratitude and love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering me.

My Story
I am a single, independent, confident, thoughtful, caring middle child of a close-knit family. My family consists of my mom, my step-dad (who has been my dad since I was three), an older sister, and a younger half-sister. I also have two much older step-brothers. In my family, I am considered the favorite aunt. My hobbies and interests include gardening and doing yard work. I enjoy baking and making recipes that have been passed down through generations. I love taking long walks with my dogs while enjoying the beautiful seasons Michigan has to offer.
My Extended Family
Holiday gatherings are always at my parents’ house. We play holiday games, have lots of food, and have much fun and laughter. I also have extended family that does not live very far away. We all spend time together over the holidays and with fun visits throughout the year. We always celebrate birthdays together, making the day special for that person.
During the summer months, we visit the zoos, parks, and museums in the area. When autumn arrives, we love the cider mills, picking pumpkins, and getting donuts. In the winter, we are outside finding the perfect hill to go sledding down and making snowmen. We have frequent “girl time” shopping and lunches. I look forward to revisiting Disney World, beaches, and other favorite vacation spots I have traveled to.

My Home
I'm a dog mom to my cavachon, Rocky, whom I adopted as a puppy, and his “sister,” Chelsea, a coton de tulear. They have given so much love and joy not only to me but to the children I have cared for. My home is a charming bungalow with a fenced-in backyard in a quaint historic neighborhood. It is located in a community of historical homes surrounded by churches, parks, and an elementary school in an outstanding school district. They are all within walking distance of my home. The neighborhood is closely bonded by many events, such as Easter egg hunts, Halloween parades, and Santa’s arrival in a horse-drawn carriage. In the summer, there are movies and ice cream socials in the park.
My Journey to Adoption
I have been a child care provider for over 20 years. The love and gratitude I have experienced with each of the children I have cared for has given me the strong desire to have a child of my own. Turning to adoption is an opportunity for me to give a child a life full of love with endless possibilities to fulfill their dreams and aspirations. My heart is full of excitement and anticipation as I wait for this new chapter of my life to begin. Adoption is an unconditional love that will always be shared by two loving people with the same dreams for a very special child. I will always be eternally grateful for the unselfish decision a birthmother will make.
