We first want to acknowledge that the decision you are making is one made out of selflessness and love. We understand this process will not be easy, but we are here to help support you in whatever way you feel is best.

We hope you know it is our mission for this child to know about you so they can form a healthy and honest connection to their roots. It is of utmost importance to us that they are aware of their story. Our son was born via surrogacy, and we have told him about how he came to be in our family because we believe that is what is best for his emotional development. If you prefer an open adoption, we are willing to send photos and updates so you can see for yourself that they are happy and loved. Please know we have immense respect for you and see you as an important person in this child’s life. We hope to build a bond with you so there is trust and openness throughout the coming years. If you prefer an adoption that is less involved, we also support you in that as well.
