Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Hello! We are Jenny and Tim, and we're honored you’re viewing our story. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and understand why we want to grow our family through adoption. We have fervently tried to build our family through fertility treatments over the past 9 years. Though that journey was not successful for us, we have always felt pulled and led to adoption. I think we always knew we would welcome our sweet child(ren) through this beautiful opportunity.
We want you to know that we are supportive of a semi-open or open adoption, where we can build our relationship with you as well! (If you choose a closed adoption, we respect that too.) We admire you, truly and will pray for your peace during this process! Your decision for adoption is one which we know you haven’t taken lightly. It would be our privilege to connect to know us more! We are down-to-earth and friendly, and we look forward to connecting with you too! If you are comfortable with communication during this process, we hope to celebrate and support you through your pregnancy! We are hopeful and so excited to embrace the joys of adoption. As a couple, we've stood side by side for 16 years, and are about to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary! Our hearts are brimming with peace as we eagerly anticipate expanding our family through adoption. We cannot wait for the moment where we get to hold our sweet blessing and kiss their face!

Our Story
We enjoy the small things in life and spend time together every weekend! We enjoy casual trips to the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market, making homemade bread, and being outside! Laughter is a big part of our witty relationship!
We work during the week- Tim in his physical therapy clinic and Jenny at home on her artwork. So, we look forward to our evenings together and figuring out our weekend, like restoring furniture, walking our sweet dog Dilly, or taking a weekend trip!
It is rare for us to be seen sitting around on the couch or having a lazy day. We tend to be more active, whether it’s Tim piddling in the garage building something, or Jenny baking a cookie cake! We take daily walks around our quaint neighborhood and cook homemade meals. We dream of the day when we can hold our baby’s hand during our supper prayer and build new routines based on their interests!
We plan at least two trips each year, but the summer is for Destin! The beach is our happy place!

Our Extended Family
Our family and friends groups are wholesome, positive people! We cherish these supportive relationships! We have a smoke-free and alcohol-free home. Jenny has two siblings - a brother (15 years older) and a sister (17 years older). Tim has a brother who is only 14 months older. Between our two families, we have 7 loving nieces and nephews and 8 other toddlers from close cousins. We have a large family!
We gather with both families frequently and celebrate with joyful family dinners on birthdays and holidays! Every Sunday we look forward to a casual supper with Jenny’s mom, who lives down the street! We have a Christmas family tradition to watch the funny movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and play a hilarious gift exchange game! You can always count on there being too much food and so many desserts! Tim’s family lives on a large crop farm and they host a community-wide crawfish boil where we visit and play horseshoes!
We also have a close, supportive church group where our families gather weekly, share a meal, have a Bible study, and mostly laugh! Our family and church are excited and hopeful for us during our adoption journey!

Our Home
Our home overlooks a pecan orchard with longhorns and hundreds of cows! Ironically, we also have the perfect view to our small town football field where we can hear the teams play and the band! It’s really nostalgic! We live in a multi-racial, newer community in a small rural suburb of Bossier City-Shreveport, Louisiana. Some of our best friends are our neighbors! We have Saturday grill nights and Sunday suppers! Jenny’s mom also lives in the neighborhood and is just a 4-minute walk away! All of the kids in our community play well together and ride their scooters and bikes for hours after school and on the weekends. Our subdivision has Food Truck Fridays and quarterly hang-outs with bounce houses for the kids to play!
Our Journey to Adoption
We’ve wanted to build our family from the moment we met 16 years ago. We have journeyed infertility for 9 years, but that hasn’t stopped us from wanting to grow our family. Adoption has been an exciting option for us, knowing it opens the opportunity to build a relationship with the birth family (if you choose). We are so eager to adopt and to share our love with our blessing(s)! We have friends and family ask us weekly where we are in this journey and we are so hopeful to finally share the news that we’ve matched and have found our baby to complete our family! Our promise is to provide a safe, loving home for our child(ren) and to build traditions and memories!
