Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for taking the time to look through my profile. I want you to know how much I respect the care and thought behind every choice you are making. I hold such deep admiration for you and for the commitment you are putting into every decision for your child’s future. I hope these pages give you a true sense of who I am and the life I live. A child growing up with me would be surrounded by steady love, laughter, encouragement, and unwavering support. My home is grounded in stability and warmth — a place where milestones are celebrated, traditions are created, and feelings are always safe to share.

I promise to honor your child’s story and the incredible love that brought them into this world. Your role in their life will always be acknowledged with gratitude and respect. They will grow up knowing they were deeply loved from the very beginning. I hope you feel peace in knowing your child will be cherished every single day. Whatever path you choose, I sincerely hope you feel peace and clarity in your heart. You deserve compassion, understanding, and support as you move forward.

With warmth and heartfelt respect,
Amanda

My Story

I enjoy spending time with loved ones and that is most of how Robbie and I spend our free time. I work as a realtor and this allows me to have flexibility in my schedule and do a lot of fun and local activities like the zoo or science center, throughout the week and weekends. I focus on fun and play with my son and am appreciative we can spend our time more freely together. When at home, Robbie and I do craft activities, play with his toys together and snuggle while reading books. I enjoy working out as a form of self care (I can walk to the YMCA because it’s in our neighborhood), and spending time socializing with friends and family. I really love my career and this allows me to enjoy even more, my family life.

 My Extended Family

I grew up in a close knit family in Kentucky. I have a sister who lives close by and one nephew and 2 nieces. We spend time together regularly. My parents taught me the importance of spending quality time together. I have aunts and uncles and cousins who are local and we spend a lot of time together - either going to local children’s activities or just spending time at one of our homes. I enjoy making big meals for friends and family.

I have many long-time girlfriends who are like family. We spend time together weekly with each other and our young children. We go on annual beach trips together as well. My family and friends - we can go to each other for anything and are a true source of support for one another. I am grateful for my family and friends and look forward to bringing your child into the same environment of love.

Most importantly, I have a 3.5 year old son named Robbie. He is funny, smart and playful. He is looking forward to being a big brother one day. He is one big reason to grow my family - to share our love.

 My Home

I live in an amazing neighborhood in Kentucky where we have 3 large pools and 3 large playgrounds throughout. We have sidewalks, lots of families and kids of various ages. There are 150–160 acres that are dedicated to parks, trails, plazas, and outdoor green space woven throughout the neighborhood. People here are incredibly friendly and I am a part of the moms group - a community of support and family friendly activities. There is a community garden area, several restaurants and shopping inside the neighborhood and it is a great place to raise children. I own my home and plan to live here for a long time, if not forever.

 My Journey to Adoption

My Aunt Marsha (Grandmother figure to my son and your child): Amanda is an exceptionally responsible, devoted and loving mother. We would be very comfortable with her raising our grandchildren or having custody.

My good friend Kristen: Amanda demonstrates a level of emotional maturity that is consistently above average. She approaches challenges with reflection, calmness and a strong sense of personal responsibility. Amanda is a deeply attentive and nurturing mother. I have observed Amanda with my own children and other friends' children. She is warm, loving and deeply engaged.

My good friend Claire: Amanda consistently shows deep care and responsibility towards others, especially children. She’s attentive, nurturing and a natural leader.
