Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Hello! We are absolutely thrilled to meet you!
As potential future caregivers, life long teachers and lovers of your child we hope we can walk this path together. We know words can be a lot and yet not sufficient at the same time. Your bravery, courage and love of this child do not go unnoticed.
We understand the importance of the connection any child will ALWAYS have with their biological parents. You are a part of them; nothing can take that away. We hope to foster a sense of pride in this child so they know that they are so loved by you and would be honored to be entrusted to teach and show them as such. I cannot fathom having to make a decision so full of love that the heart aches in the process. We want you to know we will do everything in our absolute power to give your child the unconditional love they innately deserve. I know life isn’t always kind and challenges are sure to arise but being able to be there for another human being and to help guide them on a path of health and happiness is a gift we hope to be able to give.
We’d love to be able to walk this journey with you and show your child the wonderful things this world has to offer. I know life isn’t perfect and times will not always be fairy tales and unicorns. It may be a little messy and that’s okay. What’s important is how we show up and what we do with what we’ve been given. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this as the gratitude is all ours.

Our Story
When Will isn’t working as a nurse and Elliott isn’t working as a mental health therapist you can find us exploring our neighborhood or the world for new things to find. Elliott is well on his way to becoming a master pottery (in his dreams), finding new crafts and there isn’t a puzzle yet to leave him stumped. Will is a self-proclaimed 5 star Michelin chef and 24/7 lover of Halloween. Look out bargain hunters for I’m sure you have met your match with Will. Let’s not forget his love for yoga and the small things in life either. As a couple we hope to leave no stone unturned as we continue to travel the world (future children included), Beat the clock in the latest escape room or enjoy planning fun date nights. We plan monthly adventures to go find and explore somewhere new and host game nights for family and friends. We like to think of ourselves as fun for all ages and while we love to go we value and recognize the importance of being able to reset when needed.
Our Extended Family
When it comes to family there will be no shortage of love to be passed around. We both have incredibly supportive families and we have a MiMi (Will’s mom) and a TiTi (Elliott’s mom) that can’t wait to be grandparents. Will is the baby in his family with 2 older siblings who live in Nashville, TN. Elliott has 1 younger brother who lives in Ohio with his wife and their 3 dogs. We also can’t forget our hopeful great grandparents and the countless friends who have become family who are just as excited as we are. Regardless of where anyone is in the country we always leave room for holidays and traditions. Whether we’re barbecuing, exchanging gifts, having a pool party or placing 200 tiny rubber ducks all over each other’s houses, laughter and love is abundant.
Our Home
Will and I live in a small diverse suburb just outside of Denver, Colorado where food and culture combine to make growing up welcoming and accepting regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or expression. We have a 2600 sq ft home, nursery prepped, fully finished gameroom/basement with walk out to our fenced in backyard, elementary school one block from the house, a community pool and a playground just 2 streets over. When not taking advantage of the many outside walking trails and excursions, Denver has no shortage of children friendly museums and indoor activities we’d love to partake in.
Our Journey to Adoption
Adoption is an important part of our journey. Elliott grew up intimately aware of adoption and how it worked (at least 30 years ago) as his cousins were adopted and both Elliott and Will have been foster parents having had the privilege, joy and heartache of being able to care for children all of whom they’ve loved dearly. We want to be able to raise a child with overwhelming amounts of unconditional love, acceptance, understanding and patience.
