Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like to begin by thanking you for taking the time to consider us as the adoptive parents for your child. We know this must be a difficult decision, but want you to know how much we appreciate and support your selflessness. Your brave decision can help us achieve our dream of raising a child together.
We have an amazing support system consisting of family and friends who will welcome, love, nurture, and dote on your baby. We can promise you that we will raise your baby in a home full of love, happiness, laughter, kindness, and we will support your baby in all decisions they make throughout their life.
Thank you again for considering us to be the ones to raise your baby. We cannot wait for the day that we get to welcome this precious gift into our hearts, home, and life.

Our Story
We met later in life, after each had prior marriages and children, through a local event geared towards getting single people out of the house and active in the community. Both of us had settled into a single lifestyle that we were happy with, and assumed we would maintain. As soon as we met, that all changed! We instantly knew there was a connection that neither of us had ever experienced before. After our first few dates, we began talking about our future together, knowing that what we found in each other was rare and beautiful.
We dated for a year and a half before Chris proposed during a trip to San Antonio. We knew we wanted to start the rest of our life together as soon as possible so we were married in a small wedding with 35 of our closest family and friends in September of 2025.

Our Extended Family
We are fortunate to have tight-knit families, and a group of close friends, all of whom are very involved in our everyday life. They are extremely supportive and excited about our decision to adopt and will be part of our journey every step of the way.
We’re a blended family with 5 kids from previous marriages, ranging in age from 21 to 13; some are biological children, some are adopted. We just found out that we are going to be grandparents in the fall of 2026; we are excited that our child and grandchild will grow up together. All of the kids are extremely excited to welcome a new sibling into our family.
We have 3 spoiled rotten dogs. They love when all the kids are here to visit and play with them!
One of our favorite traditions is our family beach vacation in Florida each summer to celebrate the end of the school year. Our extended family spends the week together reconnecting and making memories that are talked about for years after.
Family is the most important part of our life, and we are so thankful for the families we are blessed with and know that your baby will be the perfect addition.

Our Home
We currently live in a townhouse in the suburbs of Atlanta. Our neighborhood is quiet, safe, and filled with families. We are in close proximity to family friendly attractions, parks, playgrounds, walking trails, and other recreational activities. We have excellent schools that provide a multitude of opportunities for the students. We are fortunate to have kind neighbors, and we enjoy witnessing their children playing in our neighborhood.
We are seeking a forever home in a more rural area. We want to raise a child in an area that is less busy, that provides more room for them to grow.
We are so excited to welcome your baby to our home!

Our Journey to Adoption
Three of our five children are adopted; one from a family member who was unable to care for the baby, and two from foster care. Chris volunteered with a local children’s services program, and saw the positive impact that a loving home and family can provide for children.
Due to a health condition, Stephanie is no longer able to carry children. We knew right away that we wanted to expand our family, and raise a child together. After exploring surrogacy, and realizing that was not the best option for us, we turned to adoption. Our ultimate goal is to give a baby a warm, loving, forever home; how this happens for us is not nearly as important as making our dream a reality. We understand adoption is a selfless and courageous decision on your part, and we are committed to ensuring your baby knows the sacrifice you made in order to give them the best possible life.
