Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
There are truly no words that feel big enough to honor what you are walking though right now. Your courage, your love, and the strength it takes to make this decision are not lost on us. We want you to know we see the heart behind it. If you choose us to be a part of your child’s story, it would be one of the greatest honors of our lives. We promise to cherish your baby with our whole hearts, to give them a home filled with love, laughter, traditions, guidance and love. We are starting a business to allow us to take on more of a stay-at-home parent. It is important to us to be there for all the moments of our child’s life no matter how small they are.
It is also important to us you know we are open to openness. We believe a child thrives when they know their whole story when they grow up knowing where they came from and the incredible woman who gave them life. If you are comfortable with an open/semi open adoption, we would gladly welcome that. We want to build something that supports you, your child and their sense of identity. You will always be honored in our home.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us during a tender moment in your life. No matter what you decide, we hope you feel supported, respected, and surrounded by care.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jaren & Sarah

Our Story
We are Jaren and Sarah. We were both born and raised in Texas. Jaren was raised in West Texas and Sarah was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Jaren was raised with a country charm, learning about farming and the slower pace of life. Once Jaren was old enough, he moved to the DFW area to enjoy the city life. Being born in Fort Worth, Sarah loves the downtown scene and the stockyards. She was raised going to the stock show and redo. We met in a small Ft. Worth Bar, where Jaren was working. It did not take long for us to realize we wanted to be together. 5 months later Jaren popped the question in an airplane (he was flying), and we were married 11 months after meeting. We both have careers we are proud of. Jaren is an Airline pilot, and Sarah is a police officer, and both served in the Army. We are excited to open a business we can enjoy and have fun with, allowing us to be home.
Our Extended Family
Our family is a blended family. Jaren was a package deal with twin daughters (Kenzie & Jaelyn). Sarah has a wonderful relationship with the girls who are 16. Jaren and Sarah love traveling with their girls. One of their favorite places to go is New York City and vacations throughout the year to the beaches of Mexico. Sarah and Jaelyn spent two weeks traveling in Europe (2025) and Kenzie and Jaelyn are getting ready for a school trip to New Zealand (2026). Jaren and Sarah spent time in Italy and can not wait to take the girls there one day. With Jaren being a pilot, the family loves to travel.
Jaren and Sarah both have good relationships with their family. Jaren’s family on his dad’s side all live within the area. Jaren has 4 siblings but is the only child among his parents. Sarah has two older sisters who live in Texas. Sarah is extremely close to her mom who lives in TX. Jaren’s mom lives outside Lubbock TX and visits often. Jaren’s family can be described as competitive while Sarah’s family has more of a chill vibe. Jaren’s family loves playing dominos and sports. While Sarah’s family enjoys sitting around a campfire and coffee time on the patio. Both families are excited to add a little one to the family.

Our Home
Our house has become the gathering point for Jaren’s family. We live in a small town outside of Fort Worth, TX. From our backyard we have a beautiful view of the sunset and enjoy the stars at night. Our neighborhood is quiet and has a lot of growing families that live in the area. We look forward to years of trick or treating, block parties and walks. It is only 15 minutes from any big city so to us it is the best of both worlds. We live in a one-story home with 4 bedrooms. We have 1.25 acres with a huge backyard for our 4 dogs. Our dogs are a big part of our family. Our dogs are well behaved and have “bedrooms.”
Our Journey to Adoption
Adoption is not new to our family. Jaren’s mom (Laura) and brother were adopted at birth. Laura has been able to offer wonderful advice on how to raise an adopted child. Laura has told us to always leave space for the birth family and allow the child to know their unique story. When Jaren was a teenager his mom and stepdad fostered two young children. Sarah also has an aunt who was adopted. Recently Sarah and Jaren found out their sister-in-law has a sister who was placed for adoption at birth. She has told us how her sister was adopted, and they keep in touch with her and her parents. Jaren’s Aunt and Uncle have also adopted two children from birth and have given advice on books and courses to take. Sarah has multiple friends who have adopted or fostered children.
