We want to begin by telling you how deeply we admire your strength and bravery. Choosing adoption is an incredibly selfless act and rooted in love. This decision carries complex emotions, and we want you to know that your voice, your feelings, and your comfort matter to us.
If you would like an open relationship, we would welcome that with open hearts and open communication, in whatever way feels right to you. Our hope is to build a relationship based on trust, honesty, and mutual respect, one that honors you and allows your child to grow up knowing their story is filled with love from the very beginning.
Our journey to becoming parents has been shaped by love and perseverance. We have always dreamed of having children, and for six years we tried to grow our family via IVF. Due to infertility our path did not unfold as we expected, however it galvanized how deeply we wanted to be parents. Instead our journey led us to adoption, a choice we feel called to with full hearts.
Family is created through love, commitment, and intention, and we are so grateful to be walking this path alongside you. Thank you for considering us and for the courage you are showing every day.

Our Story
Our lifestyle is centered on spending time with one-another, weekend adventures, and activities together. We both work Monday through Friday, which makes our evenings especially meaningful.
We love cooking dinner together most nights, occasionally, we treat ourselves to takeout from favorite spots like Olive Garden or a great Thai restaurant. After dinner, we unwind by watching cooking shows, cheesy movies, along with favorites like Survivor and anything in the Star Wars universe.
We’re naturally adventurous and love to travel, experience live music, go to the movies, and seek out new foods wherever we are. Weekends are either filled with exploring somewhere new or staying in to play a great board game and relax.
During the summer we love to plant flowers, trees and work outside. No matter what we’re doing, we value spending quality time together above all else.

Our Extended Family
Family and friends are at the center of our lives and shape the strong support system we value so deeply.
Kristina’s family lives in the next state, Colorado, where she is very close with her older brother, sister, mom and dad, as well as multiple nephews and a niece. We visit them every chance we get, and they make the drive to Kansas about every other month. These visits are full of food, laughter, and fun adventures such as concerts, antiquing, and exploring local history.
Chris’s parents live in Connecticut, so the distance makes visits a little less frequent, but no less special. We make it a priority to see them whenever possible, and they come to stay with us each year for a few weeks. Chris still maintains relationships with college friends that he tries to see a few times a year that all have loving families that support our decision to adopt.
In addition, to our families, we are surrounded by a wonderful group of friends right here in our neighborhood. Many of them work in the school district our children would attend, creating a close-knit, supportive community.

Our Home
Our home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood filled with kids, bike paths, and a friendly community. The school district is excellent, adding to the sense of stability and community we love. Our fenced-in backyard is where much of our life happens, from weekend yard work to relaxed barbecues and quiet outdoor dinners.
We share our home with two cats: Cleo, a 13-year old Tabby cat, and Todd, an 8-year old black cat. They love sunbathing nearby while we work, cook, or unwind. We live in a small town in Kansas that feels more like

Our Journey to Adoption
Some of our favorite adventures include times such as on our honeymoon in Portugal, when Kristina took photos inside one of the churches, which led to a scolding and then a surprising private history lesson from the caretaker that we still laugh about. In the Douro Valley, we embraced local tradition by stomping grapes together.
We also love traveling to visit family, hike, go to museums, and attend concerts. Closer to home, one of our favorite ways to spend time is exploring towns and hiking, enjoying nature, fresh air, and each other. Adventures can happen easily in our everyday life, as well. Such as driving an hour to a Trader Joe’s and getting pizza, which is actually a monthly occurrence.
