Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile and learn more about us. We can only imagine the strength and courage it takes to consider adoption, and we deeply admire and respect you for the love you are showing your child through this decision. We are incredibly grateful that you are considering us as potential parents. The adoption journey has been one of hope, patience, and love, and the possibility of welcoming your child into our lives is the greatest gift we could ever receive.
We understand that no one is perfect, and we do not expect perfection from ourselves or from life. We promise to do everything in our power to raise your child with love, warmth, and support. Our home is filled with laughter and a strong appreciation for family. These are values that were instilled in both of us from a young age. We each grew up in homes where love, support, and togetherness were part of everyday life, and we carry those same values into our lives today.

We will nurture your child’s dreams, celebrate their uniqueness, and guide them with gentle hands and open hearts. We want them to grow up knowing they are deeply loved, not just by us, but by you, the brave and loving mother who gave them life and chose a path filled with hope. Thank you again for considering us. We are here with open arms and open hearts, ready to walk this journey with you.

With love and gratitude.
Luis & Nate

Our Story

We met at Hobby Lobby, and from the very first moment, it was love at first sight. A first date was never needed, we both just knew. Luis was immediately drawn to Nate’s warmth and gentle spirit, while Nate fell in love with how openly and passionately Luis wears his heart on his sleeve. It felt like our souls had found their match.

From that day on, our love has grown through the everyday moments. We support each other in quiet, meaningful ways: a listening ear after a long day, a shared laugh in the kitchen, or a foot massage just to say “I’m here.” These small gestures have become the heartbeat of our relationship.

We chose each other for life because we share the same values, especially when it comes to building a family. We both give our whole hearts to everything we do, and we dream of raising a child with love, kindness, and patience. Over time, we have learned that patience, understanding, and laughter are the keys to growing together. Our love is our greatest joy.

 Our Extended Family

We are surrounded by a circle of loving family and lifelong friends who have embraced us with unwavering support every step of the way. Their joy for us is overflowing, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the moment we welcome a new baby into our lives.
Our godchildren fill our hearts with laughter and light, offering us a beautiful glimpse into the magic and wonder that children bring. Our home is a place of warmth and connection, where family dinners, game nights, and holiday gatherings create cherished memories and a true sense of belonging.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we are blessed with a community that feels like family, one that is diverse, caring, and deeply connected. We are profoundly grateful to be surrounded by people who lift us up, celebrate with us, and are just as ready as we are to shower a new little one with love, joy, and endless encouragement.

 Our Home

We live in a four-bedroom, three-bath home in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood in New Jersey. It’s a warm and diverse community where families support one another and children play together outside.

Inside, our home is full of love, laughter, and delicious meals. The kitchen is the heart of it all, where Luis’s Dominican dishes and Nate’s Southern cooking bring everyone together. Our living room is bright and cozy, perfect for relaxing with our Yorkies, Milo and Mia. In winter, we gather in the finished basement for movies or workouts.

We imagine bedtime stories, art projects, and laughter filling our home. Our favorite spot is the backyard with a pool, where we look forward to summer days teaching our future child to swim and play.

 Our Journey to Adoption

Our cultural heritage is a beautiful blend of Dominican and African American traditions. Luis was born in Moca, Dominican Republic, and Nate in Lexington, Kentucky. We were both raised in small towns where family, values, and community shaped our lives. These values guide how we live and how we will raise our child.

Christmas is our favorite holiday, filled with music, laughter, and the comforting flavors of our cultures. Nate’s Southern cooking and Luis’s Dominican dishes bring everyone together around the table.
We honor our roots through food, storytelling, and traditions that celebrate love and connection. If our child’s cultural background is different from ours, we will embrace it fully, making sure they feel proud, supported, and deeply connected to who they are.
