Our names are Benjamin and Kane, and we’ve been together for five years. We were recently married in September 2025, and building a family together has always been a dream we share. Our home is warm, joyful, and lively…we have two small dogs and five cats, all of whom are gentle, affectionate, and very excited for a future little one to love. There is always laughter in our home, and we are a funny, active family who loves to stay engaged, explore, play, and create memories together.

Our Story

Our day-to-day life is a blend of routine, laughter, teamwork, and simple joys that make our home feel warm and full. We spend our days doing yardwork, exploring the area where we live, cooking together and spending time with our pets. After a few years of traveling, we often now joke that we “like to maximize our mortgage,” which really just means we love spending time at home together creating a space full of comfort, fun, and connection. Our lifestyle is steady, yet flexible, which makes it especially well-suited for welcoming a child into our family. We maintain a good work/life balance which helps us stay grounded in consistency and partnership. A home where a child will always feel safe, cherished, and truly known.

 Our Extended Family

We feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by a strong, loving support system made up of our families, chosen family, and close friends. Our future child will grow up with a whole village cheering them on, guiding them, and loving them unconditionally. Benjamin’s family lives in Michigan, and although distance separates us, the relationships remain close and meaningful. Kane’s family lives close by, and they are a steady, loving presence in our lives. We also have a strong circle of close friends we call the “Fam Bam”. We gather multiple times a year for celebrations, holidays, vacations, cookouts, game nights, and spontaneous day trips. We feel incredibly grateful for the community around us and we cannot wait for the day when a child becomes part of this circle of love.

 Our Home

We live in Southeast Pennsylvania, in a cozy and eclectic brick farmhouse near to a beautiful and vibrant small city filled with culture, history, creativity, and endless things to explore. It’s the kind of place where community truly matters, where families gather at local parks, neighbors wave hello, and there’s always something fun happening just around the corner. We feel incredibly grateful to call it home, and we’re excited to raise a child in such a welcoming, enriching environment with some of the best school districts in the country!

 Our Journey to Adoption

We both believe that life is measured in memories, not things. Some of our happiest moments come from exploring new destinations, trying new experiences, and creating traditions with the people we love. Whether we’re traveling across the country or taking a spontaneous one-day trip nearby, we always find joy in the time spent together.

Some of our most memorable adventures have been on cruises. We’ve visited many of the islands in the Caribbean, enjoying the culture, food, and beautiful beaches. We have also visited Alaska together which is now top on our list of favorite places. The beauty and connection to nature in Alaska is unmatched! Kane has also been to Europe and spent a significant amount of time in Africa doing mission work.
