Our Story
We’ve been together for almost 7 years and married for 6. We met online and quickly realized how much we enjoyed being together, and before long, we fell in love. Amber was born and raised in Wisconsin, and Kyle grew up in Ireland, so it’s been fun blending our backgrounds and traditions into our everyday life.
We each have our own hobbies, but also enjoy doing things together. Kyle is a self-proclaimed massive nerd who loves sci-fi, LEGO, and anything space-related. Amber enjoys antiquing, crafting, and watching reality TV. We also like trying new activities together, like pottery classes, bingo nights, and anything fun or a little different.
Traveling has been a big part of our relationship. Together, we’ve been lucky enough to visit Ireland, Scotland, Punta Cana, and Spain, and we’ve also taken a road trip from Wisconsin to New York and back to visit our nieces.

Our Extended Family
Amber’s family is close, with many relatives nearby. She enjoys time with her aunts and cousins, often going antiquing, to farmers markets, and bingo nights, and stays connected with her mom and sister, talking often and seeing them whenever possible.
Kyle’s family is spread across Ireland, England, Scotland, and New York. We make it a priority to gather yearly for family vacations and have created many special memories traveling together. We stay connected through daily video calls, which keeps us close despite the distance.
We’re lucky to have four nieces and one nephew and are excited for more little ones to join the family. We also have friends with young children nearby and look forward to playdates and watching all the kids grow up together.

Our Home
We live in a cozy three-bedroom, two-bath home in Wisconsin with a large fenced yard that our two rescue dogs, Atlas and Maevis, absolutely adore. Both are seven years old and were adopted when they were one. Our two cats, Loki and Little Kitty, are eleven and have been with Amber since they were kittens. They are always ready for nonsense, playtime and treats.
Our town has a cute small-town feel, with chocolate shops, bakeries, and weekend farmers markets. Downtown also has a local cheese shop and an amazing coffee shop. In the summer, we like to go to the park by the lake, or hang out by the fire in our backyard. In the winter, we love spending time at the ice skating rink, sipping hot chocolate, and roasting s’mores.
Our community also hosts a Christmas event every year as the town works toward its goal of becoming one of the best small town Christmas destinations in the United States. It is a warm, welcoming place that truly feels like home.
We are so excited to raise a family here, surrounded by the people (and pets!), we love.

Our Journey to Adoption
One of our favorite adventures was traveling to Spain for Kyle’s brother’s wedding. We began the trip in Ireland at Kyle’s mom’s house, then headed to Spain, where we stayed in a beautiful mountain Airbnb with a pool surrounded by family.
Mornings started with coffee and breakfast together before swimming, playing games, and enjoying fresh bread from a nearby shop. We explored the town, relaxed on the beach, visited a vineyard, and even found a coffee shop that roasted its own beans. Evenings were spent cooking and sharing incredible meals, and there was even a talent show the kids put on. It was the kind of trip we’d happily relive again and again.
