Our love story began unexpectedly at an Ohio amusement park in the summer of 2021 once the world reopened. Bobby had returned to performing at said theme park, and Michael—an avid park visitor—noticed him starring in a new show that season. Soon after, over dinner at our favorite restaurant, we discovered how much we shared: faith, family, friendship, and a love of adventure, laughter, and Disney. We knew right away we’d found what was missing—each other.

Our connection was instant and joyful, grounded in shared values and endless laughter. Our proposal was straight out of a movie: without planning it, we both proposed to each other at the Trevi Fountain in Rome—a place filled with meaning for us both.

Bobby is a professional Disney performer who brings magic to audiences, especially children, while Michael is a director of special education dedicated to helping children thrive. Together, we balance creativity and care. We can’t wait to share our love, joy, and laughter as dads—and give a child the happiest, most loving home imaginable.

Michael’s small family—his mother and sister—overflows with warmth and love. His mom lights up every room and is thrilled to become a grandmother, eager to spoil her first grandchild. His sister, Michelle, has always supported Michael and Bobby and can’t wait to share that affection with a child.

Bobby comes from a big, close-knit Italian family. His parents, John and Kathleen, are hardworking, loyal, salt-of-the-earth people. His dad, a railroad electrician and true jack-of-all-trades, can fix anything. His mom balanced a career in home mortgages with being the ultimate class mom, always present, always caring. Their values of family and loyalty shaped Bobby and inspire the kind of parents he and Michael want to be.

Bobby is the oldest of three, he has a brother and sister and was always referred to as the “third parent”. Being a dad has been Bobby's destiny since the age of 10.

Michael’s closest friends, Heath and Quincey, are family in every way, and he has shared in the joy of their children’s adoptions.

Across the country and abroad, a wide circle of friends and relatives stand ready to support their family. Their child will be surrounded by a village of unwavering love.

Our home is the heart of our family, warm, loving, and filled with laughter. It’s a spacious three-bedroom house where memories are made. Cozy movie nights by the fireplace to festive decorations for every holiday. Bobby’s cooking brings us together at the dinner table, and our finished basement and big backyard are perfect for games, fun, and family time. We live in a high rated school district in Ohio, known for its excellent teachers and strong academics. We’re close to the theme park where we met, where we love creating adventures year-round. Our gentle dog, Baloo, a licensed therapy dog, adds even more love and comfort to our home. We are ready to welcome a child, fill their nursery, and share endless warmth, laughter and belonging.

Our adventures have taken us from Europe’s ports to Disney’s magical kingdoms and road trips between Bobby’s Long Island roots and Michael’s Ohio hometown. We treasure family, fun, and culture wherever we go. Bobby’s Disney career has brought us around the world—from Italy and Greece to France and Norway—and we even got engaged at the Trevi Fountain in Rome. We dream of returning there someday with our child to share where our love story grew.

For us, every day is an adventure—whether exploring new places or cherishing small moments at home. We’re ready for the greatest one yet: becoming dads and showing our child the world’s beauty and wonder.
