Dear Birthmom
Dear Birthmom
Dear Expectant Mother,
First and foremost, I want to celebrate you and your baby. The love, courage, and strength it takes to consider adoption speaks volumes about the kind of woman you are—selfless, thoughtful, and incredibly brave. I know this decision is not easy, and I want you to know that I see and respect the weight of what you're facing. Thank you for taking the time to read through my story and consider me as an adoptive parent. Your willingness to explore this path is deeply meaningful, and I'm truly honored to be part of your journey, even in this small way.
If you choose me to parent your child, I want you to know they will be deeply loved, protected, and nurtured in a stable and joyful home. I will provide a secure environment where your child will always feel safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are. As a mother already, I understand the depth of love and devotion that parenting requires—and I'm ready to open my heart even wider. I'll admit, I'm a little anxious, but it's the kind of anxious that comes with hope, excitement, and the desire to do this right—with you, and for your child. Thank you again for your incredible strength and for considering me. No matter what decision you make, I hope you feel surrounded by support and care every step of the way.

My Story
Hello! I'm Christy, a single mom to a lively four-year-old, Henry, who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy and laughter. I work as a Project Manager for a marketing team, where I thrive on collaboration and creative problem-solving. I love to laugh, sing, and get creative in the kitchen—cooking and baking are some of my favorite ways to unwind. I stay active by playing softball and pickleball, plus Henry and I take advantage of our many local playgrounds, trails, and pools. We live in a very active community, so you can often find us at neighborhood driveway parties, splashpad hangouts, or local town square events. Evenings are my time to relax, usually with a good TV show and whatever new craft I'm trying out. Life is busy in the best of ways, with a balance of fun, family, creativity, and a touch of adventure.
My Extended Family
We're fortunate to have a strong, supportive extended family nearby as part of our lives. My parents, Mimi and Grandad, live close by, and are very involved in our lives. They are especially excited to welcome another grandchild and already have a "grandchildren room" in their home—with bunk beds just waiting to be shared by future siblings or cousins. They're incredibly helpful, often caring for Henry when he's sick or out of school, even though I have the flexibility to work from home. They often join us on trips like family events or beach weekends, making memories together as a close-knit group.
We frequently visit with my grandmother, Nanny, who lives nearby. Our additional extended family spreads across several states, including a grandmother, Mamaw, a brother, Jeremy, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins with children of their own.
Henry's biological father, Thomas, and his grandmother, Nana, live an hour away and are also important parts of our family circle. We see them weekly, often enjoying weekend visits and trips to Central Florida attractions—we even have annual passes to several theme parks. Their side of the family is equally excited to welcome a new member into the ever-growing cousin crew.

My Home
My home is a welcoming space, less than two years old, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious family area, and an open kitchen with dining nook perfect for family meals. One of my favorite features is the covered lanai looking out over a large backyard and peaceful creek—a wonderful place for play, relaxation, and enjoying nature. Inside, I have a record player and piano, plus I've dedicated one room to toys, games, puzzles, and art supplies, creating a fun and creative space. I live less than 1 mile from 2 different parks and pools. Sharing our home is Mac, my sweet and playful eight-year-old cat. She's full of personality and always happy to join in the mischief my toddler and I get into.
My Journey to Adoption
I am pursuing adoption because I deeply desire to grow my family and share my love, time, and support with another child. Becoming a mother has been the greatest joy of my life, and I feel called to open my heart and home even more. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, cherished, and encouraged to be exactly who they are. I am both honored and excited at the possibility of caring for your child, and I recognize the strength and love it takes to consider adoption. If chosen, I will devote myself fully to providing a nurturing, joyful, and stable environment where your child can thrive.
