You have an incredible heart in order to decide to provide the best for your baby. It’s courageous to go down this path, and we are eager to understand your journey and honor your wishes.

We are truly fortunate to be able to travel and try new things. Our travels have shaped us into the people we are today, and the idea of sharing these experiences with a child is beautiful. There's a unique joy in seeing the world through a child's eyes, in rediscovering the wonder of a sunset or the excitement of a new story. A child’s natural curiosity about all of life’s creatures and workings is contagious. We look forward to revisiting places that created happy memories as well as sharing our favorite books. We want to provide a home filled with learning, love, and laughter.

Our Story

We are travelers at heart. When visiting exciting places, we like to find unique restaurants and visit places of historical and cultural significance. Whether we’re exploring new culinary delights or scaling the heights of our careers, we chase after adventures. We met at college while developing a shared love of snowboarding. Our hobbies include playing video games together, watching nerdy shows, and hiking. Nate grew up near the mountains of East Tennessee, and Ashley is from New Orleans. Ashley is currently in corporate communications for a global company and does part-time work for the military as well as being a public relations expert. Nate was recently hired as an airline pilot after 14 years of serving as a military pilot.

 Our Extended Family

Ashley is sandwiched between her two sisters. Ashley’s cousin has two young daughters who love to hang out with us to go play in the mud or create a mess with art projects. Spending quality time with family is incredibly important to us, so we rotate which family we visit for each holiday.

Nate’s younger sister has four young kids who think we buy the best presents. Nate’s youngest sister can always count on his fashion advice. Nate’s grandfather provided inspiration for his flying career, and his grandmother bonded with Ashley over their shared passion for art. When Nate isn’t cooking food, he is talking to his family about cooking. Time spent with family is a recipe for happy memories.

 Our Home

Nestled in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, our five-bedroom house is a blend of comfort and convenience. With local boutiques, restaurants, and grocery stores just a stroll away, it's a community that offers both the charm of small-town living and the ease of urban accessibility. The presence of a wandering family of deer adds a touch of natural serenity, creating a peaceful retreat where the city's bustle fades into the tranquil whispers of the woods.

 Our Journey to Adoption

We realized the importance of friends and family after many years in the military. Now that our careers have settled, we’ve placed growing our family as a top priority. We’ve always had it in our hearts to share our home through adoption. Struggling with unexplained fertility issues has helped us understand that it’s our best path to parenthood. We are excited to add to our family and share the joy we feel in life with a child.
