Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We can only imagine how much thought and love has gone into this decision, and we are truly grateful that you would consider us as part of your child’s story.
Becoming parents is something we have dreamed about for a long time. Over the past few years, we’ve been preparing our lives and our home for a child, creating a space filled with stability, warmth, and room to grow. More than anything, we are ready to share our love, our time, and our hearts with a child.
We look forward to building a life full of meaningful moments such as exploring museums and historic places, traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures, relaxing trips to the beach, or having fun at amusement parks. We also look forward to the quieter, everyday moments like reading bedtime stories, celebrating small milestones, and encouraging curiosity and creativity as your child discovers the world around them.

Our Story
We met 22 years ago through friends and quickly bonded over shared tastes in music, movies, and television. While we enjoy doing almost everything together, we also make time for our own interests. Michael likes hiking with his father and friends, and Billy enjoys biking and organizes a weekly meeting for aspiring authors.
Together, we love traveling, exploring new places, going to the beach, and spending days at amusement parks. At home, we enjoy reading, cooking, playing video games, or relaxing with a movie. We look forward to sharing these experiences with our child, from outings and adventures to everyday moments at home.

Our Extended Family
Michael has a close relationship with his father, who lives with us and is excited about becoming a grandfather. Having him in our home adds an extra layer of support to our daily lives. We also carry with us the memory of Michael’s mother, whose values continue to shape the kind of home we hope to create. During holidays and special occasions, we gather with his extended family to share meals and enjoy playing games.
Billy comes from a large family with a strong military tradition. He has three brothers and eight nieces and nephews, and while everyone is spread out, we make an effort to stay connected. Visits with his grandfather, aunts, and uncles near Dallas are relaxed and centered around spending time together.
We are especially grateful for a close-knit group of friends and deep roots in our community, having both grown up in the area. Many of these friendships are an extension of our family. We regularly spend time together hanging out, celebrating milestones, and commemorating the holidays.
Together, our friends and family provide a supportive and caring network, where a child would be surrounded by love, encouragement, and a strong sense of belonging.

Our Home
We live in a 3-bedroom home in a quiet, diverse neighborhood with our two cats, Sonja and Prancer. We also built a comfortable space in the backyard for Michael’s parents to enjoy when they weren’t traveling in retirement.
Having grown up in the area, we are fortunate to have long-time friends nearby with their own families, creating a strong sense of community. Our neighborhood has safe streets, beautiful parks, top-rated schools, and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We also have easy access to a zoo and a variety of art, history, and science museums, which we can’t wait to explore with our child.

Our Journey to Adoption
We have always known adoption would be how we grow our family, and it has always been our first choice. We are thrilled to be on this journey and excited for the next chapter, becoming dads. We are inspired by several friends of ours who were adopted and have seen firsthand the love and support they received growing up. Their experiences remind us how important a nurturing family can be. We are committed to providing that same love while honoring a child’s story and identity. Our close friends will also be an incredible support network, helping create a caring environment for our child to grow and thrive.
