Becoming parents has been our greatest dream since we first met, and we’ve spent years building a life full of love, compassion, and understanding in preparation for the arrival of our future child. We can’t wait to embrace the journey of parenthood—the ups, the downs, and every beautiful moment in between. The thought of nurturing, guiding, and cherishing a child fills our hearts with joy and purpose.

Our Story

We’re Matt (he/him) and Aydrien (she/her), a couple deeply in love and on the path to parenthood. Our story kicked off in 2017 with a connection that was deep and immediate, setting the stage for the life we’re building together. Matt, Aydrien’s rock and calm anchor, works in internal auditing and data science, while Aydrien is a designer for a luxury fashion brand. Matt’s steady support has been everything as Aydrien has embraced her true self. Together, we’ve built a home filled with love, acceptance, and resilience—values we’re thrilled to pass down to our future child. Our flexible careers mean we work from home, soaking up those little moments and getting ready for this next chapter. Parenthood has been our dream since day one, and we’re so ready to pour our love into guiding, nurturing, and supporting a future kid.

 Our Extended Family

Our family is our greatest source of love and support and is thrilled to welcome a child. Matt’s large family has given us countless memories and traditions to share with our future child. We make frequent trips to Chicago to visit them. Though Matt lost both parents to cancer, their legacy endures through recipes, stories, and humor, which we’ll keep alive for our child.

Aydrien’s family is equally warm and welcoming. Her parents live just four houses down and are so ready for another grand to join Clifford, their bubbly four-year-old nephew. Both of us have a loving brother who is excited to welcome a new niece or nephew.

Our family traditions start at Easter with a potluck, games, and prizes. Each May, we join Aydrien’s family on the Gulf Coast for a week of love, food, and relaxation. As a queer couple, Pride Month in June brings our Pride Party, parades, and festivals. In July, we head to Michigan for cookouts and watersports. We try to visit Hawaii between Thanksgiving and Christmas to escape the Midwest cold. We spend Christmas in Mississippi, where Uncle Bam fries the turkey, Papa bakes his pineapple upside-down cake, and GG serves her famous sweet tea and stuffing as we watch holiday classics like Elf and Christmas Vacation.

 Our Home

Our home, in the heart of the South, is warm, welcoming, and ready for a little one. We chose this neighborhood for its vibrant community, school system, parks, and family-friendly environment, all within reach of our doorstep. Our home offers six bedrooms, four baths, and Manolo - the resident Chihuahua - who is gentle, playful, and excited for a new family member to love and protect. Most importantly, Aydrien’s parents live just four houses down the street. We’ve built a space that’s safe, cozy, filled with joy, and ready to echo the sounds of laughter and the pitter-patter of little feet.

 Our Journey to Adoption

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for considering us. We knew early in our relationship that we both wanted to be parents, inspired by the love, values, and compassion our own parents instilled in us. Watching our nephew grow has only deepened our yearning to be parents ourselves. We long for the simple moments—baking banana bread, exploring new places, and walking hand in hand to school. The opportunity to love and nurture a child, to be there through every moment of their life, is the most beautiful gift we can imagine. We promise to honor this journey with love, respect, and a deep commitment to giving your child the best life we can.
