Dear Birthmom

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile. We know this may be a season filled with many emotions and difficult decisions, and we want you to know how deeply we respect you and the love you already have for your baby. While we can’t fully understand what you’re experiencing, we hope you feel supported, cared for, and never alone as you consider what is best for you and your child. We are truly grateful to even be considered and have been keeping you and your baby close in our hearts.

Throughout the process of growing our family, we’ve held onto the phrase “Faith Over Fear,” trusting that the right connections will be made at the right time. We believe every child’s story begins with love, and we would be honored to be part of your baby’s story. If chosen, your child would be surrounded by unconditional love, stability, encouragement, and joy. We look forward to celebrating milestones, nurturing curiosity, and creating a home where they always feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. It is deeply important to us that your child grows up knowing how loved they are and understanding the care and strength behind the choices made for them.

We recognize the courage it takes to consider adoption, and we respect whatever path you choose. Thank you for your openness, your strength, and for allowing us to share our hearts with you.

With love,
Zach & Christina

Our Story

Hello! We are Christina, Zach, and Olivia. We are so grateful that you’re taking the time to learn about us, and we want you to know how much respect we have for the emotions and weight that may come with this moment. While we can’t fully understand what you’re feeling, we want you to know you’re not alone—we’re walking this journey alongside you with care and compassion. We’re a lighthearted, loving family who believes home should be a place of comfort, laughter, and authenticity. Zach is an Army helicopter pilot who previously served nine years in the Marines, and Christina is an attorney who works for the Army as a civilian. We adopted our daughter Olivia at birth, and she just turned one—she is a goofy wild child and would be the sweetest big sister. We work hard to fill our days with music, dancing, outdoor adventures, and quality time together.

 Our Extended Family

Family is incredibly important to both of us.

Christina was raised with one younger sister by her mom and dad in South Florida. Her mom came to the U.S. from Cuba as a child. Celebrating culture, both Cuban and American, was a huge part of her childhood. She was raised around her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She has a close relationship with her sister and brother-in-law, and they have both a two-year-old and six month old son. She has a great tribe of girlfriends who are also like sisters and love being aunts.

Zach was raised by his mom and adoptive dad in North Dakota with seven siblings (four biological and three adopted). He was the baby! He was lucky to get to know all of his grandparents throughout his life. As a teenager, he met his biological dad and learned he had another brother. He is big on family and keeping up with all of his nieces and nephews. Zach also has close Army buddies who are like brothers and are incredibly supportive.

At the end of the day, between adopted, biological, and close friends, our extended family is thrilled to welcome another baby into the mix.

 Our Home

We are an Army family currently living in North Carolina and will be here for the next few years. Military life has taught us how to quickly turn any house into a warm, welcoming home. We love exploring our community, attending local festivals, and documenting our adventures. We’re surrounded by a close-knit group of Army friends who truly feel like family. Our neighborhood is calm and family-friendly, with great schools, parks, and plenty of outdoor space. We enjoy spending time outside hiking and exploring, especially with our two dogs, Captain and Bree. They’re Aussie/Labrador mixes who love walks, cuddles, and being part of daily life—and they’re already excited to welcome a new sibling.

 Our Journey to Adoption

Becoming parents has always been our biggest dream, and adoption has been part of that story since the beginning. Zach was adopted when he was five, and Christina’s family was shaped by adoption when her cousin joined the family from China. After facing infertility, choosing adoption felt like a natural and hopeful step forward. In December of 2024, we welcomed our daughter Olivia through adoption, and we fell in love with her instantly. Christina was honored to be in the delivery room, and being at the hospital together was a moment we will always cherish. Olivia has been the greatest blessing in our lives, and because of her, we know our family isn’t finished growing. We hope to give her a sibling and best friend.
