Dear Birthmom

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for your consideration of the life you want for your baby. Thank you for considering us to love and raise your baby. Thank you for being brave and selfless. Thank you.

Life is not always something that goes according to plan, but it is about how we react and handle that. We have dreamed for the longest time of growing our family and becoming parents. Our home, our hearts, and our lives are ready to welcome a bundle of joy to love and care for. If you choose us, your baby will grow up in a home with laughter, fun, many people to love, and a lifetime of happiness.

We have not had easy decisions to make on our journey with doctors, appointments, tests, and procedures, but this is the easiest decision we have ever made: to put ourselves out there for the chance to grow our family and to become parents. We believe our four babies we lost are still with us and are leading us on this journey.

We are very proud of the life we have built together with the support of our family and friends, and we are eager to share that with a child. Thank you for all the time and consideration you are taking for your baby and yourself. We would love the opportunity to continue this journey with you.

Thank you,
Kelly and Kyle

Our Story

We believe wholeheartedly that our journey was supposed to lead us to adoption. We are excited to see where our path leads us. We met while we were in college in Chicago and have been together for over seven years, married for almost four years. Kyle works as a semi trailer mechanic less than five minutes from our home, and Kelly works from home as an employee benefits analyst and account manager for an insurance broker. We love to be outside whenever we can, especially when the weather is nice. Our family and friends get together often for bonfires and pool days in the summer as well as for dinners and game nights in the winter. We also really enjoy working on home projects in our home, which we bought just about three years ago.

 Our Extended Family

We both have pretty big families. Kelly has three younger brothers, two who are engaged and one with our two-year-old niece. Kelly’s parents also live locally along with most of her 30 cousins. Kyle’s parents and sister are also local to the area. Kyle has five cousins here in Illinois, and his dad’s side of the family lives in Tennessee. Holidays are always busy with all the close family as we usually have two to three stops while we make the rounds to see everyone.

We also have a very close group of friends whose kids we consider our nieces and nephews, and we spend a lot of time with them. These friends join us and our families on our yearly October vacation to Michigan for a weekend of fun, food, and laughing.

We are both very close with each other's families and even decided to have just family stand up in our wedding. We have also stood up in each other’s family’s weddings over the years as well. At this point, we all make one big family!

 Our Home

We were fortunate to purchase our first home in 2020: a four-bedroom, three-bathroom home in the suburbs of a large city. Our home is in a very family-friendly neighborhood with highly rated schools within walking distance. Our home is also in an HOA that includes a pool, tennis courts, and clubhouse that hosts many events and activities for kids and families. We have two kitties, Howie and Hobbs, and a dog named Leroy. Our fenced-in backyard makes for lots of fun while playing fetch.

 Our Journey to Adoption

Our journey to adoption has not always been the easiest, but we have always had this door open in our minds. Early on in our relationship, adoption was something we had talked about wanting to do. Then, when over the last three years we had lost four babies, we felt adoption truly was how we were meant to start our family. We both have family members who have been adopted and had wonderful experiences coming into our families. We are eager to become parents and expand our family in the best way possible.
