Dear Birthmom

We would both like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We know we cannot ever fully understand how you feel right now. Just know we think what you are considering doing to be a true act of love and heroism. This must not be an easy choice to make, but we believe it is an honor to be considered to give your child a life full of love, guidance, and care. We are overly excited about becoming parents and thank you for your consideration.

If chosen to be the parents to your child, know that they will always know love and be cared for in the best ways possible. We will make it our life goal to make sure your baby knows the love you have for them. We will love them the way you would and care for them as if nothing else in this world matters. Your child will have many cousins to play with. They will have unconditional love from many aunts, uncles, and grandparents on top of all the love we will provide.

We know this gift of a child is not a simple or easy one to give, but know that your child will experience all the love we can give. Thank you again for your consideration, and no matter the outcome, know you’re a true hero for giving your child the best you can.

Our Story

We both attended the same high school but did not really know one another well. We reconnected years later in our late twenties and have been in love ever since. We’ve been together since 2015, were engaged in 2019, and married at our home on Christmas Eve 2020. Brandon is from a smaller family, while Chase is one of four children. We both love having our families over for dinner and backyard cookouts. We bought our home in 2020 so we could be closer to family and friends. Brandon has a successful HR career he loves, where he gets to connect with all kinds of people. Chase gets to use his love for children and is a Nanny to twin girls, until we are lucky enough to have a child of our own. He loves the experience and skills he learns along the way.

 Our Extended Family

We love spending time with family and are lucky to have most of them close by and within only five minutes. Chase has three brothers, all of whom are married. Brandon has one half-brother who lives a few hours away. Together we have Eight nieces and nephews and one more on the way!

Several days of the week, we have family over at our house for dinner and fun activities. Brandon loves to cook, and we all enjoy that he does! Chase also nannies one of our nephews on Mondays. We try to have our nieces and nephews over a few times a month for a sleepover and enjoy the time we get to spend with them.

We host our annual Christmas Eve dinner at our home and have been doing so the last few years. We spend Christmas Day with Chase’s family, and his dad gives Brandon a break from cooking. Brandon’s mom, his mom’s boyfriend, and his uncle come to celebrate Christmas with us too. Finally, we also visit Brandon’s 96-year-old grandma with his dad close by. During the summers, we take a family trip every other year with Chase’s family.

 Our Home

We live in a newly developed neighborhood in a town outside a major city. We are both native to the area and surrounded by family and friends. Our home is a two-story, four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home with a swimming pool. We have three dogs: Ellie is a four-year-old poodle, Parker is seven and a greyhound, and Kenway leads the pack at 12 years old and is a shih tzu. They are all rescue dogs from shelters. We have a huge fenced-in backyard for lots of playtime. Our neighborhood is diverse with all kinds of families. We live in a great school district with one of the highest-ranked elementary schools in the county. There are lots of parks, museums, and culture in our city to explore.

 Our Journey to Adoption

Ever since we met, we both knew we wanted a family. We were not always sure what that would look like, but we knew it included children. From the beginning, we’ve discussed how we would make that happen. When we felt the time was right, we began researching how to grow our family. Adoption is the path we felt was right for us. We know entrusting someone with the care of your child can be a difficult decision, but we know we can give them the love and support they need.
